Can Fatty Liver Cause an Enlarged Liver
Hi all, Just as the question says can a fatty liver cause your liver to swell/become enlarged or inflammed? After a visit to my gp she said my liver felt enlarged on percussion. I am not asking for medical advice just opinions on wether an alcoholic fatty liver can cause the liver to swell/enlarge

Effect of Alcohol Free Wine on your Liver
Hi all I'm new to this website and am seeking advice about alcohol free wine. I'm trying very hard not to drink alcohol other than at a week-end as my recent blood tests weren't the best. I've been told my liver damage can be reversed but I'm finding it difficult not to drink. I'm trying to get by on

LIver problems and blood pressure reduction medication.
I have a non alcoholic fatty liver which has recently registered an average of 53kpa following a recent fibrescan. I have been taking 5mg of Ramapril for high blood pressure over a number of years. My question is: Is there any evidence that blood pressure reducing drugs, such as Ramapril, have any effect

Anxious about blood test results
I'm have anxiety and now that I've had mildly elevated ast and alt I'm going crazy over what the cause could be. My ast alt ratio is greater than 2 but maybe I'm just in denial but I didn't think I drank enough to have alcoholic liver disease. Now I'm just over analyzing every senerio. Could have been

Anxious about everything.
I haven't posted anything for a while but this week has thrown up a lot of feelings I've been pushing down. I have been offered/put forward to trial the new liver cleaning machine (OrganOx metra). They take a liver that would normally be discarded, clean it until it can be transplanted into a person who

Serum Gamma GT - test result above "normal"
My last LFT (Serum Gamma GT level) tests have all been āabnormalā, the last test was in Oct 2016 - it was 192 u/L (normal being 0-39), and before then the last nine tests were also āabnormalā, and I haven't been re-tested for this since the one in October 2016. What does this type of abnormal result
