i have heard alot of people say burning the endo is not the best way to.deal.with it. can anyone tell me why and what is the most effective way? x

Hi I think the easiest way to explain it is that it's like treating a weed. If you only burn the top of it the weed grows back. If you cut it out from the root (excise it) then it shouldn't grow back in the same place again.

Also burning endo can cause more scar tissue and adhesions which in themselves can cause pain.

These are the reasons why excision surgery (ie cutting it out) is now deemed the gold standard.

I've been explaining it to my family as, plucking hair or waxing it, plucking it cuts it at the surface and waxing it pulls out the root,
