T2D friendly dinner options
Hi All, I have been trying various options for my dinner everyday for the last couple of months or so to better manage my fasting blood sugar. The below are my key observations. 1) Organic Non-GMO durum wheat pasta(not the commercial one with Maida) 2 cups minimum at around 8.30-9 PM. PPBS around 140

Homeopathic approach to preventative care
I am interested in hearing if anyone is using a homeopathic approach for preventative care or actual care of CLL. I am trying to reduce counts by trying this approach but interested to hear if anyone has any luck or can recommend sites to visit for information.

Hamstring Strengthening
I’m just working through my second hamstring injury. Nearly there I think and hopefully back to pounding the pavements next week. I’m looking for some exercises to improve my hamstring strength, preferably ones that don’t involve weights and rely on body weight and resistance. I’ve found a ton on the

muscle strain
Good morning all. On Wednesday I turned in my seat and felt something go and since then I’ve had a soreness in my side that is very tender to touch and incredibly painful when I turn, particularly in bed. I’ve been on prednisolone for 4 years now for PMR and GCA and I’m currently on 5.5 mg so I’m wondering

Dehydration and diuretics
I read so much about the need for drinking plenty of fluids but at the same time I take a strong diuretic (Bumetanide) for HBP. However toilet trips are getting less frequent so do I need to drink even more to get the balance? I presume so.

I am currently on 100mg spironolactone and 40mg furosemide daily to help my Ascites. Recently I hurt my back running and was prescribed a 4mg/day methylprednisolone dose pack to help with the injury. I began taking the steroid last Tuesday evening, and by Wednesday afternoon to my pleasure noticed

When to expect period after FET?
hi everyone, I’m so confused where I am in my cycle. I had a period after starting the Buserelin for my FET then did all the meds etc for a FET. We unfortunately had a failed thaw so cycle was cancelled. Stopped progesterone and had a period a few days later. Do I count this as my period? As the nurse

Blood tests
As some of you know, during the pandemic, when there were no blood phials in the UK, I had my blood test in Cyprus. It was discovered that I was dangerously low in Potassium. I informed my UK GP. I heard nothing and today went for my yearly test, which I had booked myself. I asked the nurse, if the

Big, big trouble Houston
I’m 60 now but a guy so I’m still prone to daft things like buying Microsoft Flight Simulator. I flew a 747 the other day and blimey did it let me know when I tried a questionable manoeuvre. Red lights, Commercial Airliner Crash Warning sirens etc. Well it’s sort of a metaphor for me currently. Some
