My first endocrinologist visit
Comprehensive metabolic panel Aldosterone Renin Cortisol (baseline) ACTH (baseline)
DHEA
Will these tests even reveal anything if I'm on 7 mg pred? Was he correct in ordering them? Any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated, as I'm a bit worried he doesn't know what he's doing.

My
dhea

The eternal supplement conundrum!
The more I read, the more I don’t think I’m doing enough, and wonder if I need to be taking
DHEA
, but then what dose as also read lots of you are being tested on this to check levels are ok, and I’m not under a clinic. Thinking to start with 25mg.

Adrenal Cortisol results help please
My questions are: Looking at my results, what is
DHEA
telling you? How long should I stay on this dose of Thorne ACE for before raising it? If I raise it, what should be the next dose? Is there a protocol members have used which they found helpful?

Depressed Cortisol and adrenal cortex
Adaptogens and
DHEA
both tended to lower cortisol. Adrenal Cortex has been given the thumbs up by my thyroid doctor. Can anyone tell me which brand you take (PM) Or any other ideas. HC not thought a good idea. It has been suggested that I am still under medicated on T3.

Please may I get your thoughts on 2nd round of thyroid tests?
Cortisol
– Mid range, I think ok but a multi-point saliva test I believe is more accurate plus measuring
DHEA
at the same time may be useful..
Possible next steps?
1. Wait 6-8 weeks and test again with a Thyroid Advanced panel?

Has anyone tried Energy Multi-Plex? It has a little 3-acetyl-7-oxo-dehydroepiandrosterone (from DHEA) and is available over here...
I'll add the contents underneath, quite surprised to come across it over here as I thought
DHEA
was banned or class C controlled? Interesting study link below also
