Hashimoto's and Elevated Liver Enzymes
I had suspected I had Hashimoto's for over 8 years now (symptoms going back to childhood - am 36 now) - couldn't get any doctors to care. I had been feeling ill for a while (lower backaches, chills, weight gain, gyno issues), so I decided to start working out. One day, after having cycled, I woked up

Can certain foods trigger anxiety?
Hello everyone. I have been having panic attacks recently at night and thought it has been due to my IBS. I then cut down on my sugar and glucose intake untill tonight. Now I have woken up all flustered with my heart racing. Is it possible for food to set off panic attacks?

Non-PCa Prescription Drugs: Nitroglycerin

Fingerprick test: why not the earlobe?
I've just ordered my fingerprick tft just in time to read the post about how sore your fingers get, and when I did a site search (to reassure myself lol) I found a post where someone recommended taking the blood from the earlobe. Now Idk if you've ever had your earlobe snipped during a haircut, but

Eat chana daal (Bengal gram daal) since it has lowest GI index of all foods
It has almost no effect on your blood glucose level. This is something that is very important to anyone with diabetes and to many other people as well. Technically, it has one of the lowest indexes of any food on the glycemic index, 8 (where glucose = 100). Its index is 5 according to one study and 11

Chlorogenic acid found in coffee is anti-diabetic
Chlorogenic acid is found in Coffee mostly and a lot of plant compounds; it holds promise in many aspects of health and cognition similar to Bioflavonoids and shares some effects similar to Caffeine but less potent. May decrease the absorption of dietary carbohydrate. Chlorogenic acid is a phytochemical
