Could I have Endo??
I’m going to try and keep this simple but load it with information, so I was diagnosed with PCOS at 17 after getting my first period at 15 and then nothing till I was about 18, I’ve lived with it for 12 years now and found that it’s been a right pain but manageable to some degree with the help of meds

Coil is it worth it
Hi Ladies, I had the coil fitted at my lap back in October. I’ve had no benefit so far from either still in daily pain, been bleeding (not too heavy) since the lap. I had hoped I would get some relief from both they found and removed the endo and adhesions. My option is left side removed then full

First gynae app, do I go straight for a laparoscopy or try the mirena coil first?!
I’ve had my first gynaecologist appointment and she’s advised most of my symptoms point towards possible having both adhesions from a previous c-section and endometriosis. She’s given me the option of going for a diagnostic laparoscopy now or waiting 6 months and trying the mirena coil to see if that

Pelvic pain
Hello. I am 47 y/o and have had pelvic pain with increasing severity over the last several months. The pain is constant over my entire pelvis with longer and longer waves of pain that feel like labor. I had a Mirena IUD since March but just had it removed last week and then the pain really skyrocketed

Hi, I'm new to this group. I had my first Mirena Coil fitted 14 years ago (under anaesthetic) at the age of 34. I had constant heavy bleeding and was told eblation, mirena or hysterectomy. Mirena stopped bleeding, but have continued to experience symptoms, I put down to Hashimotos Thyroiditis - anxiety

Newly Diagnosed With Endometriosis
I am 20 and in September 2018 i had the Laparoscopy surgery and a coil fitted. They suggested the coil to help with my pain. During the surgery they found endometriosis. It was a huge sigh of relief to finally know what's been wrong with me, that people do believe me about the pain and that there is

Sudden realisation I have to give birth!
I’m 18 week pregnant and this week I’ve been rather worried about the birth. Mainly pain. How painful is it? I had pretty awful period pains when I had a coil fitted I was doubled over with pain, is it like really bad period pain or just far worse? Is this normal to feel like this ?

Contraception? Endometriosis and hypermobility
Hiya, I wondered if anyone had any advice as to what contraception worked best for them if they suffer from both endometriosis and hypermobility. Endo is of course fuelled by estrogen but then hypermobility is fuelled by progresterone. While waiting for my surgery date I've been put on Cerelle, a

Coil - yes or no?
Hi ladies, for years i have been told to have the coil as it will help with the Endo to reduce growth. However, i can only have the non hormonal one as i tend to go a little bit crazy when hormones are pumped into me. I keep getting put onto a whole array of pills with different hormonal levels in them

Advice on the coil (IUD)
Hello I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the coil and Behcets? Is there anything to look out for or is it straight forward?
