I’ve finally had an appointment with the gynaecologist specialist today and was very relieve that he finally listened about my endometriosis and agrees that it is the cause of all my symptoms. I explained that I suffer during ovulation and mendtruation but that heavy painful periods are not the biggest

Pregnant with IUD
Hello. This past week has been particularly rough for my husband and I. A week ago today, we found out we are pregnant. This will be our third child. We were certainly shocked to learn this since I have had a ParaGard IUD in place for a little over a year. I had the device put in at my 6 week checkup

Menstrual problems.
Hello! I am after some advice on my current situation TIA for any replies! I’m 24 years old and have been having problems with my period for 16 years now. I started my periods when I was 8 and they have always been super heavy and very painful. They have been getting progressively worse as I get older

Feeling Low
In 2011 I went to the GP where they diagnosed me with suspected IBS. Along side this, I had blood tests and went through the whole riggor of rulling out food allergies etc. Fast forward to 2016 and i was told by the doctor I most likely had Endometriosis. So what began was a trial of different pain

When will the pain go away
Hi I had my laproscopic surgery Monday. I had cyst removed and my bowel treated/ endo removed, I’m still getting really bad cramps I did have the coil fitted so not to sure if this is causing the problem. Has anyone else suffered with this? If so how long did it take for pain to calm down thank you

Bleeding won't stop, help what works?
Hi everyone I'm brand new to this, but hopeful I'll find some answers and great advice. I'm 39 years old, have pcos, over the last two years my periods have gone crazy. I bleed so, so heavily, I'm on 20 pads a day, (the heavy flow ones) huge clots through our the day and I've bled for 35 days like this

The pill and coil
Hi Ladies, I am new on here and new to being diagnosed with endometriosis. The doctor has told me to take a back to back pill so I don’t have a period to take away most of the pain and then they will put a coil in after the surgery. I am really not happy with what my doctor has to say as I do not want

Fed up and can’t cope with it anymore.
Honestly so fed up. This is a long one so I do apologise I haven’t had any diagnosis yet but I’m 90% sure all my symptoms are pointing towards endometriosis. My first symptoms occurred after I had gave birth to my first child in 2013 I had pain when having sex. Didn’t think much of it as it was up

Considering the coil...
I've been diagnosed two years nearly, had a lap which removed a lot of cysts and tissue and also found my intestine was stuck to my pelvic wall. I've been on prostap injections but they made my life absolutely miserable and didn't do much for the pain. I've come off them and I'm about to try the pill

Hey all... So it’s over and done with thank god! Traumatic experience to say the least but no more injections haha!... They found endo (as we thought) burnt the majority off, inserted a coil and took a biopsy of my womb to test for cancer. GOOD NEWS ✅ My fallopian tubes, womb and ovaries are fine

Is bleeding during and after getting the copper coil (IUD) normal?
I’m 19 and never had Children and not sure whether that will make a difference to any of the answers. I recently made the decision to get the copper coil as I’ve been struggling with hormone based contraception alternatives and this seemed to be the next step for me. Yesterday I went through the procedure
