Coil, implant or Depo injection with Hashimotos, Underactive suggestions please
As I have Underactive thyroid, Hashimotos and Sjogrens disease I can’t seem to tolerate some of the previously tried contraceptives including
desogestrel
and cerazette. Any advice would help as I need to try something out. Thanks

Hi, I started taking desogestrel and I've had 2 periods in 3 weeks. Current period so far has lasted 8 days. Does this sound normal?

Desogestrel pill- long bleeding
Hey, so I started the
desogestrel
pill, on the 3rd day of my last cycle, 3 1/2 weeks ago. A little background info I’m 18 and have always had really irregular periods being 4 or more months apart, that last a week and can be fairly heavy.

Getting off birth control pills
I started birth control pills (0,15/0,03 mg
desogestrel
/ethinylestradiol) for contraceptive reasons only this winter. I didn’t get any side effects while taking it, but my mom is very worried about high blood pressure risks. So I decided to quite after 8 months of taking it.

Mini Pill
If
desogestrel
is working so well for me, does that mean that I likely do have endometriosis? The consultant was thinking about a lap after checking me 3 months in with the new pill, if it wasn’t helping.

Desogestrel
Just had my first consultation and have swapped from microgygnon to
desogestrel
. Been told to try this for 4 months and if it doesn’t help the next step would be the key hole surgery. Anyone had experience on this tablet? Did it stop periods completely? UPDATE : swapped to this pill.

Stage 4 Endo, Depo injections a Nightmare....
He has now suggested I go on the mini pill (
Desogestrel
) which I started taking last Wednesday. Ive noticed bleeding, enough for me having to wear a panty liner!!! I have read that this is normal. I hope that this is a breakthrough for me and I am trying to be positive.

Really worried.
I've posted before regarding being on
desogestrel
. I've been on them since December, I've been having normal periods, but I got given them to stop bleeding, however I've stuck with it and I started bleeding on the 12th of February, I'm still bleeding now.

New to this?
However after seeing my gynecologist she's gave me
desogestrel
to try for 3 months. I've read online many bad things about them and honestly I'm freaking out about taking them? I know I shouldn't have googled it but I couldn't resist.

Implantation bleeding? Or just spotting from medication..?
I opted to give the pill another go but this time having
Desogestrel
as I’m breastfeeding.... anyway I missed a few pills the last two week, and (SORRY IF TMI) I’ve just has blood-tinged mucus discharge.

Desogestrel pill making my anxiety worse
Hi, I was wondering if anyone else has suffered with bad anxiety since taking the
desogestrel
pill? I have always suffered with anxiety & panic attacks but comes and goes. Since taking this pill it seems to be more continuous. I am feeling like my mind is elsewhere and feel like i am going mad.

Endo and Zoladex Injections???
I am also taking the mini pill
desogestrel
too as well as having the injection. My doctor said to wait and ask when I have my check up in a couple of weeks to whether I should continue taking this? Doesn't bring me much confidence as they didn't really seem to know what they were talking about.

Mini pill and thyroxine
Anyway.... my question is I’m on the mini pill
Desogestrel
but since taking it I’ve had lots of hypo symptoms which seem to be getting worse and wondered if it could be the pill causing this? The dr won’t increase my thyroxine so I’m trying to find solutions. Thank you
