This worked the most for me but it didn’t stop me completely bleeding. I’d have spotting ever 2-3 weeks whereas before I went on the mini pill I was bleeding more than I wasn’t bleeding.
Definitely give it a go! If it doesn’t work it’s a thing that’s ticked of the list. Good luck xx
I have been on this pill on and off for about 10 years. Thankfully it completely stopped my periods! And it’s not until the last 6 months that I have been experiencing pain whilst on this pill.
Only thing I really hate about it is that it can some times give pregnancy symptoms! And with the absence of periods as an indicator I go through a lot of pregnancy tests!
Thank you! Really appreciate it and feel like if it turns out to really not work for me that I can say no I don’t want to continue. I’m not happy though as after googling the pill it’s not 100% that it will stop my periods and the consultant said it defo would. I said I couldn’t afford to be having horrible side effects and random bleeding when I’m in my last 3 months of my masters degree!
I was pushing for key hole, I said I was sick of it and need to know. I would be terrified to go through with it but feel unless I have a definite diagnosis my family who really don’t fully understand and work won’t take me seriously.
I was on that pill for 6 years. It was the best thing for me! Stopped my periods completely and I had no side effects. I reacted badly to microgynon so it just shows that we all respond differently to different pills. I definitely recommend trying it and seeing how you get on.
I have to agree with Rose i am on this pill at the moment and it has definitely helped. However 6 months in I have also had a month long period. I will be seeing my consultant this month who can hopefully recommend an alternative. Worth a try good luck x
