Really worried.

I've posted before regarding being on desogestrel. I've been on them since December, I've been having normal periods, but I got given them to stop bleeding, however I've stuck with it and I started bleeding on the 12th of February, I'm still bleeding now. I'm a little worrier to be honest so I worry over the slightest. Has anyone experienced this or could shed any light into it. I rang my gyno, but she's not back in till April when my next appointment is.

There are lots of posts on here about this particular pill. It can take a few months for things to settle, in my case over 6 months before the bleeding stopped. During that time it totally stopped the pain though, so still an improvement. Give it time, it’s worth persevering. I’ve been on them 6 years now and with the exception of the occasional breakthrough bleed (next to nothing and no pain) it’s been life changing. Run it by your doctor if you’re concerned, as everyone is different but I’m surprised they didn't tell you it can take a good few months to settle. Hope that helps.
