So I'm on cerelle (desogestrel), and on Friday i might be seeing my boyfriend. On Friday and Saturday I missed my pill, I started taking it on Sunday but on Monday and Thursday I was a few hours late taking it. I've looked it up online and some websites say wear a condom for the next seven days, other sites say use extra contraception for only two days on desogestrel. I'm sorry this is so long winded, I was just wondering which is right? I'm guessing I'll need to use a condom? x

Hi there

It can be so difficult when there are different websites telling you conflicting things. However, new advice from Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health does now advice 48 hours of pill and condoms if progesterone only pill is late or forgotten. If you were late taking it yesterday then to be safe I would use a condom tonight if your boyfriend does come over.
