My daughter has dermatitis on her hands and has been perscribed Eumovate Cream but when she puts it on, it makes her hands more itchy and painful. Has anyone got any ideas what else she should try? Thanks

Hole in arm, won't heal, just gets bigger.
It started as a lump, dermatologist said it was hard skin, gave me
dermovate
to apply daily, now I have a hole with a red area around it. My wrist really aches.

Crying - why?
I am now prescribed 3 new drugs:
Dermovate
, Mepacrine, pro topic ointment! So, this apt scheduled for this afternoon was very important to both me and the consultants in question. This transport controller literally cancelled transport and then lied that Rheumy department did it!

Ulceration in pregnancy
I take azathioprine and
dermovate
cream for ulcers My obstetrician initially suggested a c section birth because of steroid ointment on my genitals weakening that area and danger of damage to that area (through natural birth) could affect my long term bowel continence.

Lichen planus overlap SLE
Am not feeling too anxious, because I've been managing Lichen Sclerosus for years (diagnosed by the nhs well before my version of lupus was recognised) via the ultra high dose topical steroid
dermovate
& a daily emulsifying regime. I figure: what's one more Lichen?!

I then saw a Consultant Dermatologist in December and he gave me a prescription for the steroid cream, called
Dermovate
. I have been told that my type of lupus does scar. So where I lost my hair, in three places so far, it will not grow back, as the hair follicle has been damaged beyond repair.

Trouble with blister eczema
I have recently had trouble from a tiny pinhead spot of 'blister' eczema (which I think has a name and is fiendishly itchy) on sole of right foot which appeared out of nowhere and spread to about the size of a 5p piece. I treated it with eumovate which dried up the blisters but also dried out the top

OMG - Day one of cold turkey here we come!
Well, after telling my doctor and dermatologist that I am worried that I don't seem to be able to stop using steroid creams, that the more I use them the more I need to use them I have finally consulted the web and realisation has dawned! A brief history to date ... Over the last year my eczema

Itchy palms of hands and soles of feet
Can't imagine that this has any relevance to Raynauds and Scleroderma but last Monday the palms of my hands began to itch and also the soles of my feet were very hot and itchy - felt as though I couldn't stand still as it was so irritating. Went to GP who asked all the usual questions - have you changed

Help for my Lichen Sclerosis
I was given various creams but only
Dermovate
stopped the itch, unfortunately this was replaced by quite extreme pain and found it difficult to sit comfortably. [I would rather have stuck with the itching!!] I have tried not using anything but the pain continues.
