Fragile skin on lower leg
Hi all, I have had PMR 8 years and am currently on 4/3 mg of Medrol. My skin on my legs from the knee down are very fragile and bruise and cut easily. I wear compression socks which helps but when taking them on and off I still bruise. I currently take 1000 mg of collagen. But I am wondering if there

How long does Solu-Medrol depress the immune system?
Hi, just wondering if anyone knows the answer to this question…? I have been messaging my neuro about so many things lately with my medication change from Tysabri to Ocrevus and 5 days of Solu-Medrol so I thought I’d see if any of you knew. Thanks! Jennifer

Thank You Fam, I'm Home! :)
I received all of your "prayers, love and Bday Salutations" you guys bless my soul! The emergency was crowned; but my doctors are wonderful and because my syptoms and MS 15 was it. I went back for assessment really quickly. Being tired, I'm used too - but feeling like "Ivory Soap"was left on my face

Has anyone successfully used Dr. Peatfield´s Adrenal Fatigue protocol?
I have read several articles by Dr. P where he stresses that treating and optimising adrenal health is crucial before adding thyroid hormone. He recommends using glandulars or HC/prednisone (depending on how severe the condition is) for 8-12 weeks and then trying to wean off it and see if the thyroid

How quickly did it take depo-medrone steroid injection to work for your Lupus swelling?
I had a depo-medrone systemic injection for my lupus swelling. I was advised it should take effect 1-2 days, unless I misunderstood. I would be so grateful to know how long this steroid has taken for others to reduce the inflammation.

Depo-provera pros and cons
Hi all, I’ve had a consultation this morning and my consultant has suggested depo injections. I have the mirena coil fitted but still getting a lot of symps - including sickness/nausea and huge hormonal imbalances. Has anyone else had the depo injections? Pros? Cons? Thanks all!

DepoProvera for Lupron SEs--many questions
On my MO's recommendation, I've started DepoProvera [DP] injections to combat serious sleep deprivation and other side-effects of Lupron/Zytiga. So far, I've had 3 shots, roughly a month apart. It really helps! But I'm concerned about using this drug, and my MO is basically ignoring my questions about

Your experiences?
Hi all, I’ve recently had an MRI that revealed adenomyosis and endo in the pouch of Douglas. I’m currently on the Cerelle mini pill, which hasn’t been helping. My endo specialist has given me three options to move forward, and I’d be interested to hear from anyone who has tried any of these and how

Positive vibes with less pain
Taking a different road today and going down the positive vibe road. Waited a week to make sure I wasn’t premature in my happiness. Went last Wednesday for bilateral fluoroscopy guided steroid L5 epidural for my back pain. I was definitely nervous but the physician doing the procedure was so nice

I've lost all hope.
I am so fed up and at the end of my rope. I have been trying to get treatment for over five years now. There have been several GPs (due to the first one leaving the practice and Covid necessitating using who you are given). There have been several gynaecologists and scans. I get told one thing and

Depo-Provera Pros & Cons
My MO is suggesting Depo-Provera in response to my complaints about Lupron SEs. I'm a bit reluctant to take yet another 3-month shot, that can't be undone if I don't do well with its SEs . If you've tried it, what are your experiences?

Laparoscopy results found no endo - confused and feeling lost
Feeling pretty devastated to be honest. I really thought I was finally going to get an answer for my constant pain and since I had all the other symptoms related to endo (bowel and bladder) really thought that was going to be my answer. They showed the pictures from the lap and said everything looked
