Hi I'm after a bit of help,I have stage 2 endometriosis it's around my bladder and bowels,I had my lap in June and then I was placed on to depo provera 3 times a day.i come of them a few weeks ago,but they have not helped me at all,now my specialist has decided to give me an injection called lupron which is injected into my belly, but ever since I had this injection on Tuesday I've suffered so badly with stomach cramps I've never had before, has anyone had this injection and has it helped them? Because I just feel like crying with this pain 💔

Hey Lilly2010I’m sorry to hear that you’ve had a rough go with Lupron. I had 3 months supply injected into my butt… (not stomach)and I immediately was in pain for days I couldn’t sit without hurting. I had massive shoulder pain that woke me up out of my sleep, terrible headaches and migraines, dizzy spells and my mental health was completely awful aside from gaining 25lbs in a 1.5 months post shot.

Please make sure to get into a therapist if you don’t already have one. This shot ruined my life, a c made my stage 4 endometriosis worse. I didn’t get a period anymore but medical menopause was rough.

I’ve since had to have a full hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy (took out ovaries and uterus) and I’m feeling much better. There’s grief and unfulfilled dreams of more babies but I’m healthier than I’ve ever been. Hope this helps… each of our journeys is our own and I know this shot helps many and some not so much… but I’m rooting for you xx

Thankyou for your reply yes I was exactly the same after the injection was constant pain for days, pain that I've never experienced before too,was really intense cramping and nothing was taking the pain away. But for the past 2 days I've been pain free and no pelvic cramps either, the endometriosis Is around my bladder and bowels and before this injection I was struggling to wee I was having to force myself to wee,but that seems to of faded alot now so I'm praying this Injection helps,I suffer with really bad anxiety as it is so I'm hoping I improve I've been having really bad sweats and my skin has been so itchy so am not sure if this could be a side effect or not, regards to periods I've not had one for easily 3 years but he said that will be down to the endometriosis,I've only just turned 30 so I don't think my specialist would consider that but you never no with doctors these days,I'm just glad he is helping me out with these pains it's literally no life dealing with pain every single day and for me to lead a life and say I'm used to it I've got 2 beautiful children and some days I feel so sorry for them because some days I just feel so awful to a point I can't even get out of bed I'm just praying this injection starts to do something to my body and doesn't make the endo grow anymore than it already has done but I'm so glad your feeling better,it's absolutely dreadful this condition.and it's even worse explaining to someone what it is because on the outside you look Ok but on the inside it feels like your uterus is being carved out fingers crossed I start to improve but thankyou for replying back to me xx
