Denosumab
I have had one
denosumab
injection and the one problem I am having with it is that my nails are suffering badly - very dry and crumbling. I see that Biotin is suggested as being helpful. Does anyone have knowledge of this or any other suggestions?

Rituximab and Denosumab
Has anyone had a
Denosumab
injection after having a Retuximab infusion. I have just had my second infusion and due a
Denosumab
injection soon. Just read that
Denosumab
can increase the risk of serious infection with Rituximab. Rheumatology have said that it's OK, but I don't trust them.

my doctor is talking about putting me on
denosumab
as a next step after Risedronate. I would like to hear of anyone’s experience of having this drug. My Dexa scan shows a significant decrease in T scores while taking risedronate so that obviously hasn’t worked for me .

Injection of denosumab
Having a compound fracture of spine and a new diagnosis of osteoporosis, I have been put on 6 monthly injections of
denosumab
. Am only asking if the timing is calendar months or 4 weekly months? Hope everyone is enjoying the warmer weather.

I can't get on with the medications
I was offered a 6-monthly
Denosumab
jab, but I decided that, if I had the same reaction to that, I'd be stuck with it for 6-months. That seems to be all that's available for men. I'm trying to deal with this with exercise and diet alone. Has anybody else had the same problems? Thanks.

Spine fractures
I have 3 spine fractures first diagnosed January 2023.I am currently on
Denosumab
every 6 months. I have had 2 lots of injections and have suffered neck shoulder and back pain. I can't play bowls which is my sport and cannot walk very far because of back pain. I was not like this before injections.

Reaction to Denosumab injection
I had my first 6 monthly injection a couple of weeks ago. 2 nights later I was up every half hour to pee and/or poo all night! Since then I've had a lot of grumbly tummy and also pain - shoulders, neck, arms - a bit like PMR but not quite. Upping the pred didn't seem to make much difference. Could these

What to do when denosumab course ends?
I have been on
denosumab
injections since July 2019, so the injection that I am to have next month will probably be my last. During this time I have not had a Dexa scan at all.

Teriparatide
Now, of course, I’m scared of which to choose from:
denosumab
, zoledronic acid, or romosozumab. Which will have the mildest side effects? I tend to always get the common side effects of any medication…….

Stoma with Denosumab osteoporosis medication
Her doctor has suggested she moves to
Denosumab
which contains sorbitol and is a twice yearly injection. She thinks she may have a sorbitol intolerance and particularly with her stoma (she has had everything removed) she has no large intestine to absorb it and is worried how it may affect her.

Thoughts on Denosumab in my case
The extreme potential side effects of
Denosumab
are unsettling. PC is locally advanced (seminal vessels) but negative PSMA Pet Scan for spread.
