Decadron

I am not sure what to think, but I do believe is because of the Ivig infusion and decadron that I had in March for first time ever, just one treatment ever and stopped. please help me if you have any information regarding this issue.

Doctors at the hospital recommended the following: IV Decadron 4mg 4x/day which started on 1/3' Bicalutamide 50mg once a day for 14 days Lupron after 2 weeks No surgeries due to his age. He is high risk for paralysis. He set up an appointment with an Oncologist for 1/15.

I’m going to start my second IVF cycle next week on a new protocol, they’ve added Clexane and Decadron. Anyone with a similar story? 🌸

Speech goes, eye drops. ( I went to neuro for TIA symptoms.) was given infusion of decadron. The problem is no one is actually treating. I have a call into my rheumatologist, and opthomologist explaining the urgency. No calls back. I have an emergency work in with my GP next week.

When excruciating sciatica sent me to the emergency room several years ago, I was administered 20mg of dexamethasone (Decadron) to cut the rampant inflammation, which provided relief within an hour. That was followed by a Medrol pack for the next week and, with exercise, I got over the sciatica.

As a follow-up to my last post about seasonal allergies and medication, my doctor gave me an injection of Decadron and Depo-Medrol (cortisone) for allergies.

Two weeks later, I had a second reaction despite additional precautions (oral decadron 3 days prior, IV Benadryl and Decadron immediately prior to chemo, half flow-rate of chemo), and this time, in only 5 minutes. I was told that if they restarted the chemo, I would stop breathing (anaphylaxis).

On the second dose, I had the same reaction only 5 minutes in, even with reduced flow rate and additional Decadron 3 days prior. Needless to say, I washed out of the trial as not tolerating the Docetaxel.

They gave the the “migraine cocktail” that consists of Toradol, Decadron, Benadryl, and Compazine. I don’t know what was worse... the headache or RLS. I suffered for 2 nights until it was out of my system. From here on out, I will refuse any meds that’s on the no-no list!

His brain MRI is finally stable, and his dose of steroids is at 1.5mg decadron (10mg prednisone equivalent). We literally have the chemotherapy in his night stand, but are holding off to try Keytruda to see if it will work. We are very happy with this.

Stupid steroids.... has to be lower than 1.5mg of decadron a day. He’s down to 3mg a day. Next drop will be .5mg 3 times a day which will put him at 1.5mg. I don’t know if oncology is happy about me pushing this hard but we have known for a long time chemotherapy isn’t curative.

Every treatment I receive taxol, aloxi,decadron,benadryl and pepcid. Every third treatment I receive the aforementioned as well as carboplatin and either the placebo or the trial drug, atezolizumab. I had grown my hair very long in the past few years.

I still hospitalized since August 24. Doctors are looking for something else may be coexisting with the PD or if this is an accelerated progression of PD. They have done MRI CT with contrast and Lumbar punctiion and labs. They are looking for Gillian Bare syndrome but lumbar punctiion results were

It seem interested in the switch to decadron ??? We’ll see what happens i a couple of weeks.

Continuing low dose steroid (decadron, 2 mg twice a day) to help fatigue and nausea (but has caused thrush, so taking clotrimazole troche lozenges to help because oral fluconozole is a "don't use" drug with Mektovi/ Braftovi combo). Continuing with IV hydration twice a week.

Im leaving a nightmare..... I received this treatment at ER clinic looking for relief of a sciatica hurt (I have stenosis from significant scoliosis at lumbar region) Before that I was doing PD fair well three and a half c/l 50/200mg a day plus about 6 to 8 pills mucuna 15 % levodopa on my 13 year of

How can decadron not work? That’s the toughest steroid they have. I literally don’t understand and can’t find an answer as to why it is not working.. I’m just frustrated, sad, and feel like time is running out and I couldn’t be more upset. I want to fix it. And I can’t..

Ryan has to be on decadron for the brain swelling; which is causing rapid weight gain and swollen limbs. Ironic. And he’s depressed and irritable to the point where I throw up my hands and just say I don’t know. He says he doesn’t want to mess up anyone else’s mood so he just isolates.

Currently still on the Oncology Unit, admitted; getting IV steroids (decadron) so the swelling will go down. Will be here at least for another day if not two. Just an update..... love to all

Went on hormone treatment and remain on it Lupron injections every three months and Zytiga with Decadron every morning Good news is PSA us essentially zero and growth been arrested. Cancer is no longer advancing and in some places the cancer has shrunk.
