Hi all! I’m back here after I unfortunately had a miscarriage after my 2nd FET last summer, followed by the transfer of our 3rd and last embryo, which didn’t stick.
It’s been a long winter, I got support from a psychologist, acupuncture…and had some time to mourn and heal.
I’m going to start my second IVF cycle next week on a new protocol, they’ve added Clexane and Decadron.
Anyone with a similar story? 🌸

Hi, I'm in a similar situation. Had our first cycle last year got pregnant with our first fresh transfer but sadly miscarried at 7 weeks. We had one embryo that survived freezing but that didn't stick. Just away to start the injections for our second cycle and I'm absolutely terrified! Wishing you all the very best for your second cycle ❤️
Hi Morsey669, thank you so much for sharing your experience and for your kind words!
I’ve done the pick up in April, had a very good result and I’m sure the supplements we’ve been taking after reading the book “It starts with the egg” helped a lot 💪🏻, I’ve also read somewhere that with a second stimulation the ovaries can respond better as they have a memory of having already done it before 😊.
I’m now 14 days post our 5 days blastocyst transfer, I’ve tested positive on a home urine test on Monday ❤️, I’ve been having a lot of nausea the last few days. I’ve had my beta blood tests taken on Tuesday and today, I’ll read tonight both the results with my husband who was away for a business trip!
I’m very carefully optimistic this time as I’ve never felt so much cramping and nausea this early with the other bfp…it’s so true that early loss can take away the happiness and excitement of being pregnant!
Slightly different story, as we were trying for a sibling (had our IVF son 2019).
But I had a chemical last year and quite a few failed transfers….. we decided to go for one last round, and got a BFP - I’m 40yo 😊 . (will be 41 by the time baby comes 🤞🤞🤞 )
Thanks so much I’m currently 13 weeks. And yes - we never tested before, as only ever got 2 embryos per round so preferred to transfer - but this time decided to test x
