B12 help
Can taking iron and vitamin d affect b12 levels. I have all symptoms of b12 deficiency and levels went up slightly to take me over 200 since took iron. Have I got a case to put to my gp? Any help appreciated.

Today's labs...
B12 600ng/L (191-663) Serum folate 12.1ug/L (4.6-18.7) R Serum Iron LO 4umol/L (10-30) Serum transferrin HI. 3.89 g/L (2.0-3.6) No idea about these. My doctor told me to "eat a bit more broccoli and things". Anyone have a clue about these? Just want to make sure I'm at my optimum for T4!

Levothyroxine and Raloxofene ( Evista) - does Evista prevent Levo being used properly?
Just read some research that taking Raloxifene with Levo is a no no - ( drug interaction renders Levo useless as it can't be absorbed in presence of Raloxifene) . I am very concerned as I have been on both for years - and have gained 2 stone - my TSH was 3 (on 100mcg Levo) but Labs refusing GP request

How much ferrous sulphate should I take to get my iron levels up to optimum levels?
My ferritin blood result is 110 ( range 50-300) I have bought activis 200mg (65mg ferrous iron) Guidance says 1 tablet to prevent anaemia and 2-3 daily for treatment of anaemia But I just want to bring myself up to optimum levels

Am I just just b12 deficient or PA? So confused what to do next :(
Can anyone help me please, I am so confused as what to do next.... Over the years I have had periods of numbness, pins and needles in my hands and feet, tiredness, mind fog etc which drs tests usually brought down to iron/folate deficiency. However this time was the worst it's been. In march I started

Can Hashimoto's cause iron deficiency?
'Cos my ferritin has dropped steeply from 65 to 14. Haemoglobin is still normal at 13.4 (for now). Basically, to recap, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease last year. GP put me on Levothyroxine, couldn't stand the side-effects, and stopped taking it. However, my TSH went from 5.6 to 11.2 and I started

Iron & levothyroxine.
I`m on 50mg of Levothyroxine a day for hypothyroidism, & according to the leaflet that comes with the tablets, you can`t take iron with them. Iv`e read that taking an iron supplement can sometimes help with RLS, so is there any way I can take extra iron without interfering with my thyroid meds?

Re Chronotherapy body clock and thyroid meds.
I find this interesting and hope it will help us all but I'm still trying to get my head around it. I know I'll never make a scientist. I read Paul Robinson's book and did some readings for him. He was kind enough to comment and I have been following his advice. Except for the early tablet. It seems

Help interpreting blood test results please
Serum b12 332ng/L (180-914) Serum ferritin 19ug/L (11-336) Serum folate 18.7ug/L (3.1-19.9) Serum d 86 nmol/L (76-220) I can't find anything else indicating iron, but maybe it's called something different? They also did a full blood count, so maybe it's there - ?

Why does RLS disappear upon standing.? I don't have clue. Believe it or not ;)
I read some older articles about how epinephrine and norepinephrine levels rise (somewhat dramatically) but NOT dopamine when we go from a supine position to a standing one. I have no idea if this is why our RLS is relieved upon standing.
