Euthyroid Achievement Possible With Once-Weekly L-Thyroxine Most patients normalized thyroid function with 12 weeks of higher dose
What is this "
Cytomel
or T3"? Doesn't the buffoon know that one is a brand name the other a generic approved name? [i]"If we did the same experiment with
Cytomel
[liothyronine sodium], or T3, it would be very dangerous," added S.

Lost
I emailed her office and suggested I lower from 88 to 75 of synthroid and add my 5 mcg of
cytomel
back in. I just want suggestions since it seems I'm the one suggesting things and she always say ok. This can be good and bad. Should I keep just taking T4 only or try lower t4 and add back in

T3/Cytomel
Hello everyone, I need to find some T3/
Cytomel
to purchase online here in the UK. Can anyone give me a reliable source please? I've heard horror stories about buying this kind of thing online. I recently had to pay for my own Thyroid blood tests since my GP will only test for TSH & T4.

Switching T3 meds
Has anyone switched from
cytomel
to Liothyronine?
Cytomel
made my eyes burn very bad when I first started taking it and it subsided after several months. Now my doctor took me off of
cytomel
and I tried to start taking it again after two weeks and I can't stand the burning eyes.

Lab Results on 2 grains NDT - Switching to T3 Only
I have started on 30mcg of
Cytomel
. I do not feel any better as of yet but I do have this relieving feeling once I stopped the WP Thyroid, I do not feel as though I may die at any second. I am sure I need to increase the T3 but am not sure what are the best times to dose and how much at each dose.

Help with switching from NDT to T3 only
I have a prescription for
Cytomel
in 5mcg pills. But I am really scared. What should I expect in the transition? I am fairly confident I will be able to tolerate a lot of T3 as NDT has never made me feel hyper no matter how high I got with it.

New to Synthroid/Cytomel--bad reactions (heart,etc.)
Anyway, I found a good doctor (she costs a fortune and Medicare only pays about 3/5) and two weeks ago, after blood work came back, she prescribed Synthroid and

Hypothyroidism and/or general pituitary dysfunction and bulimia (pathophys experts help!)
Currently taking 1/2 grain NDT twice daily and 5 mcg
cytomel
daily. Nothing yet but it's early on in the tx. Tried levo 3 years ago with no success and also tried Thyrogold with no effect. Hoping this is helpful. More than anything, I'm curious about the root of it all. Any ideas?!

Curing Hashimos
My book Stop the Thyroid Madness really emphasizes that we all should be on natural thyroid medication , like armour or NatureThroid with
cytomel
thrown in or possibly only
cytomel
3 - 4 times a day. I know,
cytomel
is a synthetic, for some reason that is the exception.
