Referred for an mri

After my Gyno reviewed my ultrasound result of possible endo he is now sending me for an mri he states it’s to give them further info as to the precise nature of the cysts on my ovaries as they r not entirely typical for endo although this remains the most likely diagnosis! Should I b worried !

Try not too worry too much. I think this is common. I started with ultrasounds then had MRI then lap. The scan and MRI didn’t show endo although MRI lead to diagnosis of likely adenomyosis. In most cases you need laparoscopic surgery to diagnose endometriosis. It might help them see cysts better though so you could get some answers. Good luck
