Looking for advise, help and peoples experience. I have been getting lower abdo pain for a while, I was on the pill for 10+years came off about 5 months ago, the pain got worse but has got slightly better recently, it’s intermittent some days are really bad. I get it more on the right side than the left. 2.5 years ago at my gynae appointment after unltrasounds he said he thinks I might have endo but would leave it at that as I was on the pill and managing. Now I got referred again for ultrasound, on the external she said everything looked normal, on the internal she said my right ovary was enlarged and that there were signs of a cyst that had burst, she said she thinks it could be that that’s the ovary I have ovulated from and that what the cyst is. I am just worried after hearing the word cyst and that my ovary is enlarged. I am waiting to hear from the GP but wanted some advice because I don’t want to get fobbed off for another 2.5 years
