Another Tumor
Now my bladder cancer grows on the outside where it can't be seen in a routine
cystoscopy
. At this rate, someday I'll find out that I actually died back in 1993 and some cancer has been animating my corpse ever since :-)

Adventures in the Emergency Room
It's possible this prostatic growth is just my original tumor, and the kidney may be angry due to prophylactic Cipro as part of last week's
cystoscopy
. But at least I know the pain is probably more than just constipation. Thoughts? Similar experiences?

Cancer-free! The last cysto (six months ago) showed no neoplasia as well, but I did have a bladder stone. The urologist/oncologist tried to knock it loose with the tip of the cystoscope (mentioning she wished she had a scope with graspers on it) but only broke a piece off...then the blood started to

Benign prostatic hyperplasia and Rezum treatment of the medium lobe
I have Benign prostatic hyperplasia and the biggest problem is the enlarged medium lobe...unrelated to the prostate cancer as evident by
cystoscopy
results. Does anyone have any experience in choosing the TURP procedure or Rezum and treatment on the medium lobe.

Kidney problems
I have had a
cystoscopy
done recently, though not had the results yet, and have now been referred for a kidney scan with contrast. The appointment has come through, and it is in the oncologist department. Obviously alarm bells are ringing.

Anticoagulants and inflammation.
I had a
cystoscopy
10 days ago and am still experiencing bladder pain, worse in the evenings which to me suggest that with rest overnight it heals a bit then worse after exercise during the day.

Looking for advice about endo and surgery
I’ve had
cystoscopy
which didn’t show any problems inside bladder. My gynae consultant referred me to the top endo man in my area, who then recommended I see a bowel consultant - as a result I saw him and had a flexible sigmoidoscopy, which showed no endo inside bowel.

If Mirena doesn’t stop pain, it’s not endo?
Ive had a colonoscopy,
cystoscopy
, hysteroscopy and all come back clear but the pain continues to get worse. A bowel abnormality was detected during a contrast CT which resulted in a laparotomy to look at small bowel but nothing was found.

Surgery for major stricture in urethra post DaVinciRP (4/14) & RT (3-4/16)
Cystoscopy
yesterday was unsuccessful as urologist encountered major stricture. Uro said very serious. ASAP surgery with anesthesia in a surgical center to repair. But very tricky & hubby is worried about catheter afterwards, other possible side-effects, & even long-term incontinence.

Urethral pain and cystoscopy
The only investigation I haven't had is the
cystoscopy
. Has anyone undergone the rigid
cystoscopy
under general anesthesia when you already have urethral pain? I am interested to know if the
cystoscopy
has made your symptoms worse long term and if it does affect the surrounding nerves...
