Hi everyone! I’m just looking for some advice or just anyone that knows what I’m going through as I’m currently at breaking point 😞 I am currently waiting for an urgent laparoscopy as my consultant believes I have endo, I have also been diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis through a cystoscopy last year. I experience awful pelvic pain that radiates to my back, hips and down my legs. However since July I have had 4 massive flare ups and 4 hospital admissions with my usual pelvic/endo pain but alongside with severe nausea to the point I can’t even sip water, sometimes vomiting, diarrhoea, hot and cold sweats, acid reflux, bloating and belching. I was just starting to recover from a flare up 3 weeks ago that took 2 weeks to finally settle down and I can feel another one starting again, nausea, heartburn and I had another episode of diarrhoea yesterday morning. Has anyone else experienced this? x

I think you should go to the A&E

Not always all these symptoms are related. Maybe you have a sensitive stomach and need to be investigated by an gastrointestinal doctor. So get your gp to refer you to an gastroenterologist

Hello.

Sorry to hear you’re going through this. I also have Interstitial Cystitis, as well as Endo and IBS (wondering if they’re all linked?!). If I have a flare up of IC or Endo it will also trigger my IBS, resulting in extreme pain, vomiting, severe heartburn, diarrhoea. It only lasts about a day or so when I have this and have been to a gastroenterologist about it. It’s definitely worth getting checked out especially if it’s lasting as long as you say.
