Polycythemia + Brain Tumor - Update
It was an open brain procedure (
craniotomy
) where they created a bone flap, exposed the brain and went in to get the tumor. I am fortunate in that they were able to go in underneath the brain to get to the tumor.

(After the
craniotomy
this is what we’ve had to deal with) Other than that, we are still trucking on a good organic mostly vegetable diet with a few organic grass fed meats in there, liquid oxygen, and vitamins. Looking into the medical THC oil by Rick Simpson.

Returning to work
I had a brain infection and had to have a
craniotomy
in April. I have been quite lucky that the original balance disturbance and short term memory loss has calmed down.

Life after Subdural. ESA and Open University
My partner had a traumatic brain injury 2 years ago - a Subdural followed by a
craniotomy
. He’s not been the same since, struggling mostly with his emotions and coping mechanisms of normal daily life.

Epidural Hematoma
The doctor performed a
craniotomy
a week later to remove the hematoma. He was symptom free for several months but now his headaches have returned and his dizziness also. He was given amitriptyline 25 for his headaches but that doesn't seem to be working. Any advice?

HAIR dropping
Hi I had another
craniotomy
(different years) but this last one is making my hair drop quite a lot. Even my eye lashes are coming out noticeably. Is it the norm to have hair loss after a
craniotomy
all over. I realise there is some hair loss where the op was but l didn't expect it elsewhere.

Massive stroke 52 years old
He went through a
craniotomy
and las Thursday he had a cranioplasty. He isn’t talk, moves only the right hand, the doctors say half of the brain is damaged. I do not believe, he was a brilliant attorney and I refuse to believe that he won’t recover at least part of his cognition.

Post craniotomy symptoms
I had
craniotomy
/cranioplasty for meningioma removal on 27/4/18. Around three weeks later I developed fluid under scalp which builds over night and drains during the day. It is not improving despite trying to stay upright over night and is really getting me down and holding my recovery back.

Melanoma Brain mets in 2013
After evidence of what looked like continuing growth, I had a
craniotomy
to remove the largest lesion, which a biopsy revealed as all necrotic (dead) tissue. So I'm now considered in remission, and continue to receive regular doses of Keytruda to help keep it at bay.
