Has anyone seen the Freeze the fear series on the BBC
Hi I had sever back pain yesterday and out of desperation for something to watch I put Freeze the fear with Wim Hoff on the iplayer. This is not my usual fare but it pricked my interest because I have had a long struggle with autoimmune disease and having had read articles about exposure to extreme cold

I don't have the complete paper, but this link shows a lot of it. They gave 5cc of licorice twice a day, which equals 136 mg of polyphenol-rich extract of licorice. I don't know how this relates to my Organic Licorice Root Extract 20:1 Powder https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079N4Z72C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06

Does fibromyalgia get blamed for every ailment
I have CFS and fibromyalgia for the last 11 years and recently developed a new symptom which is quite unpleasant. I get extremely cold feet and hands and now my legs have joined in. It’s as though I’m standing in front of a cold air blast. Feels like my clothes are damp and cold. I have had very hot

Finally got “it” !
I have been on prednisone for 5 years and I’m currently taking 8 mg. I have been very cautious since COVID hit and my wife and I managed to avoid getting sick. Well, at least up until 2 days ago. We both felt like we were coming down with a cold so we decided to perform a home test. Much to our surprise

Cold 🥶 and frosty Morning but beautiful sunshine 🌞 I have a slight cold today so breathing was harder but run was good. Really enjoyed it. 🙂 fingers crossed it doesn't get worse by Thursday. 🍀🤞 On a brighter note my orchid is still flowering. Beautiful plant 🌸

My GCA Story
Hi everyone. Last June I became a member of the GCA club, though not by choice. I wanted to share my story in case others experience somethig similar. It began like a common virus; sore throat, runny nose, mild fever of 100.5. I thought it might be covid, so got tested and was negative. I had been

Tums side effects
I took a Tums tablet on Monday to soothe heartburn. It worked, but I ended up with a side effect (joint pain in leg) that has persisted since taking the tablet. Has anyone had side effects from Tums or other antacids? How long did they last? Thank you, Brett

Re bronchiectasis, should I start emergency antibiotics if I catch a cold?
I'm about to go away for 10 days with someone who has just told me they've got a cold (it's not Covid). So it's possible I will catch it. If I do, should I take the emergency antibiotics immediately, or wait to see if the cold goes down to my lungs? Thank you in advance for your advice. It's the first
