Beating back my first bad symptom. Thiamin?
So, last August I was at work on a layover in Hartford, CT and went down to the fitness center in the hotel and hopped on the treadmill for my regular 30 minute run. Most of the hotels at which we stay for work have the LifeStyle brand of treadmill. These are narrower and slightly more bouncy than

Hyperacusis
Hi, my name is Sid Tasl. My wife was diagnosed with both tinnitus and hyperacusis a few months ago, and it's seriously affecting her quality of life. The hyperacusis is a bigger problem for her than the tinnitus. Does anyone have experience with this condition please? Thanks.

Has anyone had an elderly relative have bacterial meningitis and did they recover and how long was the recovery process? I’m trying to figure out if I need guardianship proceedings for my aunt. The caseworkers and doctors aren’t very organized. It’s been two weeks and i still haven’t been able to give

Finally crying "Uncle" and trying CoQ10. Who is taking Ubiquinol?
So for years I have resisted taking Ubiquinol because I believed it was similar in how it theoretically worked to Niagen, and I am already taking a sizable amount of supplements, but this week I experienced unusual muscle tightness in my hamstrings that no amount of stretching seems to help so I am looking

Right Bundle Branch Block
I have been diagnosed with RBBB and was told its nothing to worry about but when I can feel my irregular heart beat it doesn't feel like there is nothing to worry about. Plus I can find very little information about this condition.

Respiratory infection triggering symptoms
After almost a year free of symptoms I contracted a respiratory tract infection that has left me with inflammatory pain in my shoulder, feet and hands. So far I am not as bad as I have been in the past however it was a similar respiratory virus that triggered my wort episode 7 years ago.

Mirtazapine and tinnitus
I'm trying to determine whether the Mirtazapine or Ambien or Benzo drugs caused my tinnitus. Taking Benzo drugs to sleep I switched to Ambien thinking it was safer but found I could only sleep 2 or 3 hours at a time when I took it in small or medium doses. My Phych prescribed Mirt 7.5 mg + 2.5 mg ambien

Volunteers wanted in S.West for University of Bath study designing an app. that monitors RA disease progress
I'm a participant is this scheme and it's a great project. They're designing an app that uses digital tech (smart phone) to monitor disease activity in a way that will hopefully lead to quicker, more effective medical intervention when it's needed. You just need to be able to get to Bath for a first

Timing
I have split my dose of pred and am wondering what time people take their evening dose? I am presently on 12mg, 9mg am and reducing by 1mg monthly. I do not like the idea of taking it and then going to bed as my Mom passed with esophageal cancer so not a good idea for me. My Reumy does not like me splitting

I have a lump on my head
So I noticed this a few months ago and I'm 99.99% sure it's not a cysts or ingrown hair. It's a bump right above my right ear. It totally feels like solid bone! I have a really tiny one above my left ear. It doesn't hurt to touch or press on it. It doesn't move go in. I'm a 40 old male, who's a plumber

Hi all - finished 18 weeks chemo Nov 1st. Eating 90% plant based - however I was prior to dx May 2018 too. (Stage 3/grade3; brca negative). Naturopath recently told me about mistletoe injections. I would love to read your thoughts and or experience. Thank you!

Stomach virus.. Should I increase pred for a few days?
I've had a nasty stomach virus for a few days. PMR symptoms under control. Should I increase pred for a few days? Just thinking of adrenal glands. I've had a headache all day but could be due to no caffeine. Thanks friends.
