Hi all - finished 18 weeks chemo Nov 1st. Eating 90% plant based - however I was prior to dx May 2018 too. (Stage 3/grade3; brca negative). Naturopath recently told me about mistletoe injections. I would love to read your thoughts and or experience. Thank you!

Hi Elayne. My mom used those for about 2-3 years following a vulva cancer (stage 3, surgery only) and breast cancer (stage 2, surgery plus radio therapy) diagnosis. She ordered them online and applied them herself, instead of taking Tamoxifen (which she dropped due to joint pain).

Meanwhile, more than 5 years have passed since her diagnosis and she stopped ordering the mistletoe injections at some point.

It's impossible to say if the injections did any good or not, but at least she didn't experience any negative side effects.

Best of luck. Xx. Maus

Thank you Maus! I had not heard of them till a week ago. I’ve learned so much since diagnosis 10 months ago - and realize there’s so much I still don’t know. Glad your mom didn’t have negative side effects! There are many possible ones listed. Is that why you aren’t doing them?

I'm just sticking with the medical science for now. Not ruling anything out for the future though.

Hi I’ve just had my results from my Chemo treatment and devestated as no longer working and there are no other options available other that now having an appt with the pain clinic in a fortnight - I would now be up for some alterntmeds so iscador mistletoe sounds interesting and I would be really keen to hear about any positive results from it - and also negatives! Thanks for posting this as it would be great to hear - it feels like I’ve come to the end of the line :-( x

You must stay positive! As long as there is hope - it is not the end of the line. Reading and learning about Iscador Mistletoe. Very interesting. Take care!

A few years ago I dispensed hundreds of mistletoe injections for people all over the UK. It used to be allowed on the British NHS. We also supplied a local private hospital near Bewdley.

Unfortunately I have forgotten most of what I knew about mistletoe ☹️

There has been a previous thread about it if you do a thread search as I remember posting on it.

Even at the time I was supplying it there were different thoughts on it.

Best wishes

Fay
