Hello
I'm now waiting for a sleep study and a
cpap
machine. I also suffer from other physical disabilities and extreme mental health problems which causes my sleep to be a real problem.

Have moved on to 2pms
It's harder than the other but it comes with some fun new stuff like a
CPAP
and catheters. I sleep so much better now NOT! Anyway I thought I would share another painting I did of a road trip I took last summer on the Beartooth highway a trip every one should have on their bucket list.

RIP Dad
There was absolutely no let up for him and we had only got a
CPap
machine for him yesterday. He didn’t even get a chance to suppress any of the symptoms. 😭😭😭😭

End stage copd update
Last night they upped the oxygen slightly, she’s a retainer and has a
cpap
but is now refusing that, I think she’s given up her fight, she is a very strong willed person and knows what she wants lol. Haven’t been able to rouse her this morning to take her regular meds.

Sleep Apnea
I’ve got AF and just been diagnosed with severe sleep apnea and have started with a
CPAP
Machine. However on the third night of trying to sleep but struggling to get comfortable with the machine I woke up around 5.30. and had palpitations.

Mother has non-stop dizzy spells - unless lying down
She has been to several ENT - who seem to have ruled out vertigo, sleeping with a
CPAP
, tried acupuncture, stays hydrated but the medical community seems bewildered as to what it may be - im looking for solutions for anyone who has been thru something similar. thank you very much

Face mask can help combat mild cases of sleep condition.
The mask – called a
CPAP
machine - is currently only recommended for people whose sleep apnoea is moderate to severe. https://www.imperial.ac.uk/news/194209/face-mask-help-combat-mild-cases/

My fatigue has actually got better since I started using a
CPAP
machine. As it turned out, I had sleep apnea. I still have fatigue but not as debilitating as before. I'm only taking URSO. Guess it's not slowing fibrosis. I dont know.

Cpap, copd?
cpap
, copd. My Dr prescribed
cpap
, even though I am low risk. After 8 days I could no longer expand my lungs to breathe, oxygen dropped from 98 to 94, 2 days woke up with headache, became lethargic, didn't care if my hair was combed etc. I quit using it after 8 days.

NIV Support Group UK
There aren’t many members so I’ve renamed it and opened it up to anyone who uses a ventilator or
CPAP
. The aim is to connect people to share information and experiences. It’s open to those who have non invasive ventilation (NIV) or someone who cares for someone who had NIV treatment.
