Cosentyx

I am currently taking MTX and COSENTYX, I all was great earlier in the year but now am experiencing pain and numerous joints . Consultant has suggested trying leflunomide. I understand this is a once a day tablet, taken at the same time each day.

I've been taking COSENTYX 300 for about 3 years, plus MTX currently 15mg. This was working well at the beginning of the year. I started on Alendronic acid in Feb and had a big flare. Stopped Alendronic but have struggled ever since.

I am on MTX and COSENTYX I have had hay fever in the past, but not for several years. This weekend I am struggling desperately. Is it safe to take anti histamine while on these medications? Can't find a local pharmacist to ask today

Morning everyone.I've been on Cosentyx for a year now, I was on 150mg but was put up to 300mg. This doesn't seem to have changed any of the pain I'm getting and my psoriasis is out of control.

Pain levels been up and down since then and now on cosentyx which i feel has really helped. In particular for my psoarisis. However more recently I have had recurring shoulder, arm and hand pain. I had this a couple years back but it has returned.

I am soon starting on this after my Imraldi failed to work after 8 years. Has anyone had any experience of this biologic?

My reuma told me that we can switch to secukinumab ( probably cosentyx) that i believe i can better tollerate the side effects. anyone any experience? Tanks in advance

I am on COSENTYX and MTX and had been doing ok. The consultant said I needed to start Alendronic acid as my bone density borderline. Within a few weeks my arthritis symptoms started to flare. I had a depo injection, but little or no effect.

I recently started injecting Cosentyx for a bad case of psoriasis. I previously was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and was taking lefludemide. My wbc is now down to 4 and am wondering if that is a result of Cosentyx. Has anyone had this drug impacting their wbc or am I just lucky?

My only option was to drop the biologic (cosentyx). I never seem to have my wits about me enough in an appointment to ask the needed questions.

hello having problems with hyrimoz ( to much upper respiratory infection in one year) my reuma suggest me to try to change with secukinubam. Anyone can tell me about side effects? Finger cross🤞

I went back to the Rheumy nurse who gave me a steriod injection to help me through whilst I wait for the Cosentyx to make some difference but the steriod injection has not worked and I'm worse than ever.

I was wondering if anyone is on Cosentyx? I will be starting in the next couple of weeks afer being on benepali for 3 years and it's not really doing it's job anymore. How has Cosentyx worked for you ? I'd love to hear your opinions.

Do these interact at all with MTX or COSENTYX? I have changed my diet, but on investigation it seems dietary changes rarely make a difference.

which should I pick? I am thinking injection might be better so I can control the speed that the substance enters my body.

I am going on cosentyx and so I am going to get my vaccinations first. Then I thought I should probably get the crown in my mouth fixed because of the increased risk of it getting infected because it is cracked.

today they called from Cosentyx to speak to me about going on the medication. The girl said I was prescribed the loading doses and then 300mg each month. So that means two needles each time. Each one is 150mg. Anyone else taking that dose?

So, I am going on cosentyx and I sure would like to know how to better self evaluate so I know if it is working. Maybe it will be amazing and there will be no doubt. Or maybe it will be like the leflunimide and I will have no idea if it is working. Are others in the same position?

I’m on Cosentyx (secukinumab) double dose, so 2 injections and I only injected last Thursday, so I’m probably worried immunosuppressed or at my peak. She also prescribed me some high dose antibiotics incase my chest deteriorated.

I am worried the consultant will stop the Cosentyx as I don't want to lose the small improvement I have seen. So frustrating that the drugs take so long to take effect. My last steroid injection did not work either .
