I am soon starting on this after my Imraldi failed to work after 8 years. Has anyone had any experience of this biologic?
Secukinumab (Cosentyx): I am soon starting on this... - NRAS
Secukinumab (Cosentyx)
if you put that into the search box and filter for NRAS then all past posts about it will come up 😊
I have been on it for a year and a bit and it seems fine. I have not had any side effects that I know of. I have fibromyalgia and osteo plus psoriatic arthritis so sometimes it is hard to tell how well it is working but my rheumatologist says I have no joint swelling.
I’ve been on it for 3 years, it’s good but I do seem to get a lot of infections (I work in a school though so that doesn’t help!) I was put on it when benepali stopped working for me.
I've been taking it for about a year and it's worked well. I was on Humira before which was fantastic for my peripheral joint problems but I still had severe inflammation in my spine. Cosentyx maybe isn't as great on the peripheral joints, I'd say moderately good, but it does help my spine. Horses for courses.
