Cortisol results. Any opinions welcome.
Hello, I'm new to this site and as far as I know I don't have a thyroid problem, although tsh has moved from 0.28 up to 1.4 recently. Not sure if that is significant win any way. I wondered if anyone could give me any thoughts on my cortisol results. I wasn't sure where to post them, hope no-one minds

Possible low adrenal function
Hi all, I was diagnosed hypothyroid (Hashimotos) just under a year ago. I'm now taking 100mcg of levothyroxine per day, the most my doctor will allow based on my blood tests. I am strictly gluten-free and also avoiding cows dairy and nightshades, tea and coffee, chocolate and avocado (the last are migraine

No increase in FT4 with either Levo or NDT. Second miscarriage- ? connection
I was never started on
cortisone
as the adrenal function gradually improved, however my GP and Endo here in the UK could not offer an explanation as to why I continued to feel like death and wanted to sleep all day, saying my bloods on Levo were fine.

Tiromel problems?
Good morning. Has anyone found Tiromel by Abdi Ibrahim to be weak lately? I opened a new batch this week and had to double my dose. I was out shopping and suddenly felt tired. I had felt tired for a few days but had attributed it to the usual suspects, low iron, low cortisol, low vit b12. And sent for

Dr Nicola Hembry - has anyone used this doctor?
Hi - I'm in Bristol and am thinking about seeing Dr Hembry. Has anyone seen her / can recommend please? It seems frighteningly expensive - but im not feeling confident with advice from gp. Also think my symptoms are probably connected and it needs someone to look at the whole picture. I'm 61, been

Low cortisol possibility?
Hi all I won't bore you with my history but I have been around the houses a bit with drs unsure what's wrong. I have many symptoms similar to hypothyroid, M.E, fibromyalgia and been tested for most things but still everything is 'fine'. Latest involved a visit to the rheumatologists who again checked

Shoulder pain - what's going on?
Over the past year or so I have had both shoulders injected and the pain responded well to the
cortisone
but this recent pain is different. I am at a total loss as to what is going on and I'm hoping that my consultant will send me for an MRI when I see him in March.

What a laugh! Any one else been badly treated?
So after some 20 years of jumping through the NHS hoops to get a diagnosis and being badly let down, then going private to find that I did have limes disease and anaemia that the doctors didn't pick up from my tests. CD 57 range is 130 to 300 my results were -11! That's another story!! Last September

Avastin and steroids
Hi ladies To day I asked my oncologist to stop
cortisone
but he refused. I take Avastin infusions every 3 weeks for maintenance. Does anyone do Avastin without steroids? If so what side effects do you get?

adrenal support after weaning off Medrol
I recently order this product after weaning off Medrol (4 mg daily) which I took for almost five years for adrenal fatigue: https://www.pureformulas.com/pure-adrenal-400-60-capsules-by-professional-formulas.html The reason I ordered this supplement was 1. I don't feel optimal yet (tend to feel tired

Adrenal Test - Convincing Myself
I've been mulling over whether I want or need to test my adrenal glands (via the synacthen/ACTH test) , having reached the 7mg Pred dosage level I consider myself fortunate, as although having had my share of hiccups along the way, I've reached this point in the manner and time I had planned. I've

Cervicogenic headache
I have had one
cortisone
injection ( ineffective). Options are to have another injection or have the nerve severed which will end headache but result in numbness to the L side of my head. For now I am continuing with the medicines and put up with the headaches now and then.

Cover ups by NHS
I put some posts on some time ago re my daughter and the unethical treatment she received. This is an update of how far drs will go to cover up previous medical negligence and some of the previous 'treatment' she received. 1) manipulation of the facts by drs to 'explain' their own lack of investigation

Prostate Cancer & Hormones - Cortisol
Cortisol is known as the stress hormone. Wiki: "It is released in response to stress and low blood-glucose concentration. It functions to increase blood sugar through gluconeogenesis, to suppress the immune system ... It also decreases bone formation." [1] "Diurnal cycles of cortisol levels are found

Progression of fibromyalgia-clear view of one source of pain after taking large doses of Magnesium.
I am not keen on
cortisone
because of the long tem effects but it ruined my recent holiday and I can't see it getting better. Anyone had
cortisone
? I will let you know how it goes. Strong magnesium does nothing for fibro pain but it was remarkable how it gave me a clear "view" of my fibro pain.

NEED MORE ADVICE ABOUT THYROID/CORTISOL LABS
Former post with new numbers: I am a 32 yr old female who has had a rough two and a half years, but before that I had been pretty okay except always had female problems. In November 2014, I was diagnosed with fibro (had hysterectomy, kept ovaries). Since then, it's been carpal tunnel and arthritis
