What's going on?
He confirmed bursitis, gave me 2 shoulder
cortisone
shots which did help. Both GP and rheumatologist (and me) all wanted me off predisone as it doesn't work with fibromyalgia. Started tapering and off all prednisone now for a month.

TSH rising inexplicably
Between 2011 and 2015 I explored every possible treatment, nutrition, herbs, alternative medicine (you name it I’ve applied it including LDN,
cortisone
etc) etc in an attempt to recover from being bed ridden.

newbie here cortisol injection and lymphodema
Last December I suddenly couldn’t put any weight on my right leg and after months of different professionals looking at it , I was finally diagnosed with arthritis in my right knee. 2 weeks ago after being in horrendous pain when trying to walk, I was given a
cortisone
injection in my right knee.

Rheumatologist appt
Gave me 2
cortisone
injections into shoulders and will refer me to a physio. He at this point doesn't think I have any autoimmune issues. Confirmed to taper off prednisone at 1mg every 3 days and when I get to 5 mg to drop by 1mg every month.

Help needed -- direction of travel
The right shoulder has been managed by a
cortisone
( I think ) injection into the right shoulder joint on 1 April 2022. Bliss - until now. My massive problem now is my left shoulder - producing pain .... beyond what I thought was possible.

advice needed re sick caretaker
Aches, soreness and stiffness everywhere, can’t sleep either, It’s going to be awhile before he’s up and at em again, doc gave him
cortisone
injection, we’re hoping it will kick in and he can ditch the crutches soon. In the meantime, do I tough it out?

Dr did say since I have had past reactions to drugs and haveany allergies, he would have me take benadryl, Tylenol and
cortisone
before infusion. I've been on W&W for almost 7 years and I can't say im not concerned/anxious about starting ivig this coming Tuesday 8/8.

numb painful thigh
This is a new thing for me… I’ve had fibromyalgia for years but started with a pain the outside of my right thigh - originally smaller than my palm (it’s now much larger) I’ve had a
cortisone
injection which did nothing. I’ve tried naproxen. Today the pain is starting in the other leg.

Possible Prednisone Allergy?
I've been applying
cortisone
creams, exzema creams, psoriasis creams, etc to no avail. I'm wondering if I'm developing an allergy to prednisone? And if so, THEN WHAT??? What do people with GCA do if they cannot take prednisone? Thanks

Holding Acalabrutinib for procedures, etc.
I’ve had
Cortisone
injections in both hands which helped for a while, but those were prior to starting Acala. In the last 2 days I suddenly can’t move my hands without extreme pain- it’s debilitating!

Prescription costs
basically that's just the way it is seems to be the attitude I'm getting, I'm so angry, to rub salt into the wound, I've been doing some research today and found out I could have got a medical exemption for hyperthyroidism, as years of steroid treatment have left my adrenal gland unable to produce

Adrenal glands not producing enough cortisone
I hope you are all ok. I am after some advice please? After having polymialgia for 3 years my rheumi at Christmas decided that the PMR had gone and no GCA was present. I tapered from 60mg to 5 mg quickly by reducing 2.5 mg every 2 weeks. I started to feel bad fatigue from around 7:5 mg onwards and
