breathless when hypothyroid?
I am currently “dysthyroid” as my gp puts it. Briefly - diagnosed with hypothyroid disease in 2016 (all antibodies negative). Since starting transdermal hrt in Jan my thyroid levels hv plummeted (result posted recently but roughly T4 7.2 (11-22) and T3 2 (3.2-6.8). These results are from when I was taking

Binding globulins...
Anyone got a good handle on these, please? The reason I ask is that I have had 3 months of increasingly debilitating fatigue. I take T3 only and was on 100mcg, which took me 70% through the range, I have also tried 125mcg which takes me well over the top, but still tiredddddd. I have tested cortisol

EVIDENCE NEEDED PLEASE! In the past year, have you been told your T3 will be removed, or you can't start T3 due to national/local policies?
I co-lead ITT Improve Thyroid Treatment group (currently on Facebook, but hopefully a website soon) We work on certain pieces of work with Thyroid UK and The Thyroid Trust. In August 2023 NHSE issued 2 pieces of guidance related to T3 prescribing - They contradicted each other, but one said all patients

Hi all, I am currently in Spain where liothyronine is not offered at all. I have now had my third set of bloods since being on levothyroxine and my T3 has not increased from the very lowest normal lab result. I was wondering if anyone within Europe has got hold of it, it appears to only be available

GP says results are fine
Fatigue, brainfog, muscle aches, joint pain, and other various symptoms. Below are my blood test results. The GP stated there is nothing of concern. He seemed more focused on mental health issues. Is there anything obvious below? Someone said to post here. Rheumatoid factor 8 Range: Below 12.5

Here we go again latest results & any advice before appointment with nurse practitioner.
Following on from my previous post I am trying to remain positive prior to my meeting with the nurse practitioner to discuss my latest results. Although I have remained on the same dose of thyroxine 150 my percentages have changed. I had hoped to make a case for a trial of T3 to improve my T3 percentage

Hi, can anyone offer any ideas as to why ferritin has jumped from 37(mid-June) to 85.4 this wk aside from infection please?
Hi Wonder if I can pick your brains again please? My ferritin was 48 prior to loading dose March/April, then lowered to 37 which I understand is normal thing to happen on the 8wk check. I’ve just completed a yearly pinprick test(I know maybe not as reliable, but sale on &needs must!) and ferritin has

High Cholesterol
My wife has a pacemaker: the result of an investigation into infrequent episodes of syncope. As part of the investigative process she was fitted with a 14 day holter monitor which detected one episode of paroxysmal AF. She was prescribed Edoxaban. On the advice of her cardiologist she also takes peridoprol

Considering roseway labs for t3 mono
I switched to t3 mono therapy back in March from NDT and I’m feeling so much better on it. I am looking for a uk prescriber who will supply. Do Roseway labs work with t3 mono does anyone know please? And how does their system work. I’ve looked on the website and it looks like you have a consultation

results from Blue Horizon
please find attached my recent blood results from blue horizon. They have commented that my TSH is too low and I should consider reducing my NDT. As I feel well atm I would be grateful for some opinions on this as my Free T3 though high in range isn’t over. My Ferritin is always high but my GP seems
