Considering roseway labs for t3 mono

Knackeredandcross profile image

I switched to t3 mono therapy back in March from NDT and I’m feeling so much better on it. I am looking for a uk prescriber who will supply. Do Roseway labs work with t3 mono does anyone know please? And how does their system work. I’ve looked on the website and it looks like you have a consultation and then they prescribe. Will they continue your existing medication if you are self medicating? Can’t quite get my head around it so any advice welcomed please.

Hi Knackeredandcross,

Sorry I can't help answer your questions as I don't use T3 nor Roseway but by replying I'm bringing your post back to the top of the pile.

Hope you get some helpful responses? 😊

Yes, I’ve used them. It worked fine, although prescriber was v late for my booked phone call! I had Medichecks blood test results to show them. I’ve taken T3 alone for many years & I found this method worked well. I’ve agreed to have another blood test in November or so to show them. I’d give it a try.

That’s brilliant, thank you. Please may I ask what amount of t3 you are on and also if your results were as expected? I.e. t4 very low, suppressed tsh and high in range t3? I’m very encouraged by this. Did your gp have anything to say about it? Thanks for any info, don’t answer if it’s too personal.

Hi, I don’t share my results with my GP. They know my dose as they asked but I just tell them I have a private prescription as I don’t convert T4 well. I’ve tried many times to take T4 too but I never feel well. I take 40 mcg Thybon Henning and I’m ok. Not great but I have other health problems too. In the past my TSH has been as high as. 1.5. It varies. I tried taking more T3 but get an upset stomach. It’s such a balancing act.
