Hi i have really bad conversion t4 t3 was wondering if anyone using oral terbinefene have any conversion problems been on it for2 yra4s now

Hey there again :

I believe the reason for your poor conversion is because you had RAI thyroid ablation and you neeed to be prescribed a little T3 - Liothyronine to rebalabce your T3/T4 thyroid hormones.

I know nothing of this medication but a quick look makes me ask - can you use a topical ointment instead - and I'm probably now showing my ignorance.

Hi penniannie, i tried topical a number of years ago and that didnt work . It was just a thought, will wait and see what endo says .
