horizontal dents on fingernails
Hi all, Thanks for all the information on this forum, it’s very helpful. In the last couple of months I have noticed horizontal dents on my fingernails. I haven’t been to the doctors yet but I wondered if anyone here has experienced this too? l heard it could be an iron deficiency or a zinc deficiency

I need a CLL expert
Greetings, I am still so new to all of this and am an 'outside the box' thinker, as my body does not respond good to pharmaceuticals, so of course I always work with body, mind, soul, good eating, exercise, supplements, etc. I was diagnosed with CLL (then Dr. Davids felt I was more SLL) in Feb '22.

Upcoming vaccinations for flu and Covid
Hello everyone, This is my first post on the forum so hope it goes ok. My question is concerning the booster jab for Covid and, the usual, flu vaccination. This afternoon my local medical centre sent texts regarding the above, encouraging me to book dates for the vaccinations. I always have a flu

Newest Vaccine and BTKi
Wondering if the following is worthwhile: Knowing my Oncologist will probably advise against it, in the past he has told me better to deal with covid infection instead of holding CLL medication in an attempt to get a good vaccine response. 13q Muted, off Zanubrutinib since July 22nd, due to covid

Evosheld
I joined the Evosheld UK Facebook page where there is a strong campaign for the government to authorise Evusheld. We were asked to write to our MPs and ask for the question to raised on the House of Commons. I have written several letters to my MP and generally get a stock reply. Here is the latest

covid vaccine booster and IVF
As I work front line, I have been told I can have my ‘seasonal booster’. I have had all doses offered so far and have been fine (never had covid either). However i have my next IVF consultation next week so could start shortly after that and wondering if people think I should hold off from the vaccine

Heart Pacemaker and Omicron Covid
I went for a pacing check yesterday and was told that my atrial fibrillation was now constant whereas before it was under control and minimal. The technician said it was likely because I had Omicron Covid the other month, and that Covid can affect the heart rhythm. She said it may improve or my Consultant

Anyone receive monoclonal antibodies for high risk Covid?
My dear husband(88) contracted Covid at a 100th Birthday party celebration. He developed symptoms 3 days after. He tested and was positive. I had no symptoms thought high risk with asthma and O2 24/7. Our physician geriatrician prescribed the antiviral Paxlovid for both of us- to protect me as well.

Covid autumn booster and flu vaccs
Having said I'd have my flu and covid booster separately I've just booked to have both at once at our surgery. Has anyone strong feelings either way? I've never had reactions to any of covid jabs ( Astra Zeneca Moderna or Pfizer) or to any flu jab.

Additional Shingrix Vaccination?
I have CLL and have been successfully treated with O&V earlier this year. I also had the recommended two doses of the Shingrix vaccination (against Shingles) two years ago. A close friend of mine, who also had CLL but despite my urging did not have the Shingrix vaccination. A couple of months ago

Covid vaccine for people with Bronchiectasis
Good morning all, does anyone know please if all bronchiectasis sufferers are on the priority list for the COVID vaccine? I heard this morning on the news that people on that list are being called for their booster from now, so wondered if I need to gently prod by GP. Thanks!
