My dear husband(88) contracted Covid at a 100th Birthday party celebration. He developed symptoms 3 days after. He tested and was positive. I had no symptoms thought high risk with asthma and O2 24/7. Our physician geriatrician prescribed the antiviral Paxlovid for both of us- to protect me as well. I tested neg 4 times over the 5 days. He got much better and I stayed well—- until he relapsed, became infectious and I caught it.
We took great lengths to quarantine at home, seperate sleeping on different levels, eating in seperate rooms and masked when near each other. We disinfected surfaces- used seperate bathrooms. All to no avail. I suspect this devilish virus stays suspended in the air for some time.
Monday past I woke up feeling terrible. Tested positive for covid as my husband continues to recover. I requested the antibody infusion which I received yesterday. Today have no Covid symptoms but did feel very dizzy I suspect from the cold remedies I needed yesterday. I
stopped tapering to 9,5 and stayed at 10. I feel well enough to resume my taper tomorrow.
Anyone with a similar experience?

Apologies, my post I was seeking information on Covid testing policy in the UK . I assumed that you were in America. Just below your post it says United States. Is that an error?
I currently have viral symptoms, and am not firing on both engines, just ignore me.
it made no difference ; I still caught it from him despite masking, seperation. This virus is suspended in air like measles. When we weren’t near each other and eating I breathed the same air. Because of the heat and humidity we did not open windows; we used air-conditioning - standard here. I even have air cleaners with hepa filters in many rooms because of my asthma.
