Antivirals again!!
After feeling like I had a bad cold & sore throat from Tuesday (I put it down to the excessive 40C heat & constant use of fans, AC etc) on Friday am I tested positive for covid again. I last had it at Easter, so only around 3 months ago and I took Paxlovid antiviral drug which 100% speeded up my recovery

Rituximab covid paxlovid etc...
Hello, I managed to get COVID despite precautions such as vaccinations, mask wearing, isolation, etc. I had a fever, and painful, loud breathing, etc. Rheumatologist (phone consult) sent me to emergency dept at hospital. That doctor prescribed paxlovid for 5 days. Rheumatologist stopped methotrexate

Double bind
we have got ourselves in a double bind, of heat and Covid, Both my OH and I succumbed within two days of arriving in Provence, where the temperature is set to stay (unusually) at 37 for all the time of our stay. Fortunately we have space and family to help but I would be grateful for advice on how to

Complications with MTX and post Covid
Hi there. I wondered if I could get some thoughts on what has recently occurred. My MTX was increased 6 weeks ago, and I stopped prednisolone a week ago. I had a blood test Tuesday. Thursday my GP phoned saying red and white cell count were really low, and to stop taking it until he'd spoken

Hello everyone. I need some help. My mum has CLL and had been on venetoclax + rituximab since November 2021 (rituximab suspended early due to lowered neutrophils). We had several mishaps (e.g. frequent diarrhoea) however she was quite well until she got on 16 May and she tested covid positive. She

Asthma/ILO (also known as Vocal Chord Dysfunction) and Post Covid Breathing
Hi, I was diagnosed with asthma when I was 15, so over 23 years ago. I have always had an atypical presentation with more of a cough than a wheeze. My asthma has started to get worse over the past three or four years, with massive exacerbations since I had Covid in January. I have had three hospital

How many of us have had Covid?
I have been worrying about the recent cases of covid and how it affects us with significant COPD. It is so transmissible it seem it is only a mater of time until everyone gets it. I have had my fourth booster but still wonder how sick might get. Any comments/advice?

Recent admission and now what
My asthma has been out of control for the past few weeks, I think mainly due to hay fever. Then I got covid, got antivirals and felt mostly ok. After 6 days tested negative and started a course of steroids for 5days to calm my chest down as it was even less happy. I felt great again 3days after stopping

Bebtelovimab vs Paxlovid
Wondering if anyone has experience with Bebtelovimab? Son has been isolating in his room with covid for last 8 days. He is feeling better but, still positive as of yesterday. Yesterday, wife was feeling terrible, and tested positive for covid. Feeling much better today. Isolating in back bedroom.
