Its been 10 months since having a stent fitted want to know if I can take viagra 100mg for the bedroom lol sorry

erm, from what I have read... there doesnt seem to be a problem with this. I would of course ask your GP at some point (they are open minded) HTH

There’ll be other implications and considerations concerning what other meds you’re on and their interactions particularly if you’re on blood pressure lowering ones.

Hi Mac_meister,

I had 25mg (Sildenafil) prescribed by my doctor but as I dont like taking tablets to counter the effects of other tablets have not taken them yet. The clear message from my doctor was not to use my GTN spray after taking a tablet.

It was originally developed as a heart drug. Many doctors are said to take to prevent heart disease.

There are a few heart drugs that it is contraindicated with.

If you are taking a nitrate based med , such as isosorbide mononitrate then taking viagra could result in unexected death as apparently they can/will? combine and cause a massive blood pressure drop to a level below what is needed for the old ticker to keep pumping.
