Steroids and Heart Heajth
I’m 4 weeks post heart attack and stent placement. This took place whilst tapering Prednisolone after being wrongly diagnostic with Polymyalgia. I’m currently experiencing extreme tiredness and weakness and breathlessness, I’m wondering now if part of this weakness could be down to tbe steroid taper

I had a stent put in in October 2020 and everything was ok I had a few visits to A& E with chest pain but since them I’ve walked over 500,000 steps starting in March this year and my recent Echocardiogram was fine I only discovered my LAD Blockage when I had a routine Angiogram so it was a shock I continue

Getting my head around my diagnosis
Supposedly a fit and healthy 40 year old Male who started getting chest pain during exercise about a year ago. Diagnosed with atherosclerosis about a month ago and fitted with a stent 2 weeks ago. It's been a rollercoaster. Scary and unexpected but coming to terms with it slowly now. Stopped smoking,

Problems after MIGS surgery
Hello I had a stent inserted in my eye in early April to reduce the pressures. Unfortunately I am now being told that the eye has healed too quickly and there is no flow from the stent so I need to go in again for repeat surgery. Has anyone been through a similar experience? Rgds

Cardio rehab
I would definitely recommend cardio rehab. I had CABG and Mitral valve repair done in 2017. Found motivation really difficult at home and had a delay starting rehab due to arythmia. When I finally started, although the activity did seem really slow, the fact that I had a focus for 6 weeks was very important

Conflicting diet plans
I am wondering if anyone can give me some dietary advice. I am type 2 diabetic, so need to avoid sugars. I have had heart attack, stents and bypass surgery, and was advised to follow a low carb, high protein diet. But now I have developed a gall bladder problem and am told I need to go on a low fat diet

Introduction
Hi, I'm Ron Baston, 68 and recently diagnosed with unstable angina. Started 5 years ago after stent fitted which triggered stable angina. Seeing Rapid Access Chest Pain clinic early July. Hope to get sorted and back on the golf course asap! Cheers.

Advice, encouragement, sharing
I seemed to be a fit 60 year old cycling 20k every other day and going for 2/3 hour walks in the weekend, until climbing hills became more difficult and the chest/stomach pains started. Within 2 months I was not able to walk to the end of the road anymore. An angiogram showed 5 blockages and I had an
