I had two unsuccessful attempt to fit a stent. Is there anyone else out there who is managing on medication with a totally blocked artery and if so how are you managing?

Hello... Sorry to hear the stenting was unsuccessful. There was a report that showed that many with lifestyle changes and medication did as well as those with stents and bypasses. I cannot find the reference at the moment but think Milkfairy may have it.
However if the conservative approach does not give you a reasnoble quality of life a bypass may be an option potentially depending on other health issues. After being deemed unstentable with four severely blocked arteries causing angina and breathlessness I had a quadruple bypass three years ago.
