Apologies in advance, but I have tried searching for the answers before posting but I got a little overwhelmed.
I had a HA 9 days ago followed by 1 stent being fitted, with maybe another in the next couple of months.
I have 3 areas I would value your guidance on:
1. Acid reflux discomfort. The GP prescribed a antacid which merely takes the edge off.
2. Still getting residual discomfort from the area and upper back. This could be due to the healing process or even part of the GERD symptoms as it feels like trapped wind.
3. Lastly, tips and tricks on how to cope with the anxiety. I have already had one trip to A&E convinced that I was having a HA - when it was actually acute panic.
Many thanks for your time.

Hi there, I had a couple of stents fitted two and a half weeks ago.The day after the procedure I still had a dull ache across my chest, the Dr had an ECG done and a scan of my heart, both were fine with no problems.
After a week at home I spoke to our GP about indigestion I was suffering from....after meals I could have burped for England....I also still had an ache from my heart area, left side, collar bone, across the back of my shoulders and neck....the ache comes and goes.
The Dr told me to double up on my Omeprazole, after a few days it definitely helped with the symptoms although it has not completely got rid of them.
I've had good days and bad days, on Monday I felt terrible and had to go back to bed after a few good days.
The last few days Ive been good despite the aches.
Thanks so much for your reply. It has reassured me greatly. My mind has been working overtime trying to process. I have been walking 5-7 minutes whilst I wait for Cardio Rehab. I assume it depends on the individual - but some days I feel I could walk for longer. Regards.
I am doing the Cardio Rehab exercise weekly. I have been given conflicting advice the Cardiac nurse encouraged me to take up the exercise class and I do walk alot . The other advice was to rest. The HA was in June. I guess it is about listening to your own body and if we experience chest pain or are breathless we rest .

My situation seems to reflect yours too. The pain in the stomach is the worst keeping me up all night. So I am hoping a solution will be found soon. I will share on here how far I get with this. I am trying to think positive and hope all of this is teething troubles which will get rectified . I hope that goes for you too.
