no stent-tortuos artery
Hi all who replied. I did have angiogram, apparently the LAD is 65-70%, then another part 74%, BUT it is what they call a tortuous artery, really curved and twisted, looked like a country lane on the angio, with corners! So apparently difficult to stent and made the decision not to and treat with meds

Heart attack
When I add my heart attack, I also add 2 cardiac arrests while they was fitting a stent. Now I have been diagnosed with ischeamic heart disease. I was wondering if anyone knows how much damage cardiac arrests cause to your heart

Heart Attack- 1 year review of medication
Good Morning, It will be coming up to a year soon of having my HA & Stent fitting. I will get a review of all medication I currently take, I would like not to be on any! But I feel anxiety of coming off them and having another HA. I guess this is normal. I’m just looking for any advice or your experience

Numb hands
After my sHA and stent I now wake up with numb hands, almost like pins and needles. I mostly wake on my back so it's not from lying on them. It goes away after a few minutes of being awake. I wondered if anyone else has experienced this. Ta 😀

Difficult week
After my last admission I was experiencing considerable pain again , went to hospital & after ecg was blue lighted to Belfast. I was having a stemi and my right artery was blocked. A stent was fitted straight away but unfortunately I went into cardiac arrest afterwards, I'm so lucky I was in a hospital

best time to take statin and BP meds
Hi, wondering what the consensus is on best time to take these meds . Originally, I was told to take BP medication’s at night along with my statin. While in the hospital, getting my stent, I was told to take my BP medication in the morning and the statin at night. Thank you

Twelve months on
I had a heart attack twelve months ago and had a 4.5 cm stent fitted to LAD. All test are clear but still get pain sometimes - consultant has told me that I have blockages in minor arteries that will cause angina pain but not serious. Is anyone else in this position? thanks Richard ❤️🩹

Stent - do I need one?
I have haad scan, stress test, and there is a suspicion of LAD giving problems, but nothing conclusive. I was put on Beta blockers, statins, and now I have no pains, low blood pressure and am walking up to 18 miles a day with group. I do get raised heart beats if I walk to fast, or am physically tired

Atorvastatin
Hope you are all well6 months on from NSTEMI and 1 stent, on usual, bisoprasol, clopidogrel, atorvastatin, aspirin, ppi and bp meds Just a quick question, as we are all aware stains can give us aches, pains and cramps. I don't have these in my legs but in my left shoulder, arm and neck, aches and sometimes

After cardiologist decided my left ventricle was fully blocked with plaque and it was as hard as a rock he said that the right ventricle had took over the job of purifying the arteries and had been doing this for a while, he suggested the best method to go forward was to leave things as they are and

Still not back to normal
I had a heart attack, (NSTEMI) in August 23. I had a stent and was put on standard medication, plus went through cardiac rehab with good results. But I'm not over it. I go dancing regularly, walk as much as possible and rest when I need to. My GP recently adjusted the dose of bisprolol (doubled to 5mg
