Q10 Supplement
My chiropractor suggested I might benefit from taking a supplement called Q10 gold. The research I did was quite interesting done by Pharma Nord, seems their studies with people with heart problems eg heart failure also CABG mortality rate reduced considerably, also enhanced energy levels etc. My Chiropractor

how do you prepare for bypass!
Hi Just after a little bit of advice on how I can prepare myself for a bypass surgery, I only found out before Xmas after an angiogram they couldn’t fit stent because of where the blockage is in the left internal mammary artery. So I’ve been referred but now my mind is going into overdrive thinking

Left arm pain
I had a balloon angioplasty on my LAD in May after discovering I had a total blockage. Prior to this I had angina pain whenever I exerted myself. Since then I have not had any angina at all but over the last week I have had a squeezing deep throbbing pain in my upper arm and into my neck. I have also

A year on from my HA
Right then bit of a long story so bear with me I'll condense it down, , I'm a 49yo male and in Dec 21 I suffered a mild heart attack! Didn't see that coming but warning signs were there! Three months prior starting in September I was getting odd back pains just below my shoulder blades it was quite random

Nicorandil reaction
Recently went to hospital for chest pain, all test ok on paper, never had a bad ecg even with heart attacks. They put me on Nicorandil 10mg twice a day. I had been on it before, cardiologist took me off it 20mg twice a day after last stent in Feb. This time I had massive headaches, for 2 days, nothing

Liver Stent/Tips
Hi, I had a tips in May 2022, within 6 weeks it failed and I had urgent surgery to correct it in July 2022. I've been told my new TIPS is very big. Since then I have felt absolutely amazing. However, past week I've had a build up of ascities - not huge but enough to see my weight increase by 7lbs. I

Blockage near junction
I had may angiogram today. One significant blockage was detected. The consultant said that the blockage is near the junction of two arteries and therefore he is not allowed to immediately fit a stent until he consults with the medical committee. He did not explain [i]

Should I accept a stent?
I might be offered a stent after my angiogram tomorrow. Upon reading this article I'm not sure if I should go for it : https://www.nih.gov/news-events/news-releases/nih-funded-studies-show-stents-surgery-no-better-medication-lifestyle-changes-reducing-cardiac-events

Not sure and nervous about using GTN spray
I had my heart attack on 26th and stent fitted. Surprisingly feel absolutely fine , but occasionally get a ‘gentle’ discomfort in the middle of my chest which doesn’t immediately go and am not sure whether to use GTN or not. Any advice on who it is best to ask regarding this as it’s a bank holiday ?

Epigastric pain
Hi all I’m getting a dull pain in my epigastric region, that’s kind of the area just below your heart in the centre. I’ve had it for sometime how and mentioned it to the cardiologist but they don’t seem bothered as it isn’t directly my heart, even thought it started after my CABG. Im starting to wonder

Home from hospital after heart attack
Short version of my story is that on Xmas evening I had a heart attack. I had to be resuscitated twice. In the ambulance and again at the hospital while they were inserting the stent. During various echo and ct scans they found a couple of abnormalities unrelated to what happened. Issues with the valves

Orbita trial
Just a quick update ventured to the gym today for my first aqua class for 8 months, after all the trials and tribulations of this year. So happy managed the 3/4 hour class without any angina. I am beginning to think I must have had the stent at the angioplasty as not any anti angina meds now. If it

Hi, I had a heart attack 28 months ago and 3 stents in my LAD. Very surprising but not totally unexpected as despite having no risk factors bar genetics , loads of my family had heart attacks so I always thought I’d get one eventually, though not at age 66. I’m doing ok but struggle emotionally to feel
