The nearest metric measure will be 50cl.

1 pint = 568ml or 56.8cl.

As with anything else, drinking alcohol in moderation is fine unless you have been advised to avoid alcohol.

Moderate drinkers , as in the odd pint as a treat is generally safe.It mainly depends on which medications you also take for any illnesses you might have , and whether you suffer with high blood pressure or not.

If you are going to choose any sort of pint , a draught of the black and white is better option , in my opinion and that of the brewery nutritionists that tested it.

As well as being tasty it contains all of the B vitamins except Vitamin B 12 and is rich in Folates. It also contains some fibre and polyphenol antioxidants.

This could make us all think , " Fab , that's good for lowering cholesterol and immunity , right?"

Well , that's what make Guinness a better option , but unfortunately the alcohol and sugar content mean it should only be a rare treat.

Depending on the Guinness brew you choose ( yes there isn't just one ) a half pint contains anything from 78 calories in the original up to 112 calories with other varieties.

Plus, Guinness added Nitrogen to the mix in the 1950's to create it's creamy texture , which is another thing we need to be careful of ..... especially if you take medications that are affected by Nitrogen Rich foods it may not be "good for you"

If I ever have the odd drink now I still go back to half a pint of Guinness .....

And yes, I have done the tour! 😆😆😆

Nitrogen gas is not absorbed in the gut, so the nitrogen in the Guinness foam is irrelevant.

I believe Guiness 0.0 is a good copy of the real thing, but obviously without the alcohol. Not sure what is in it for good / bad things as I haven't looked / tried it yet... could be worth looking at as we all try to behave better

I like Guinness 0.0, one of the few non-alcoholic beers that are tasty.

Both my mother and I were advised to drink Guinness after surgery. Sorry guys, but it took some time for me to find it palatable. 😊

Guinness 0.0 is a good substitute (I know from experience). Off hand I cannot recall the sugar content but the taste is 98% spot on which is pretty excellent for a "No Beer".

I drink guiness 0%, it is exactly the same taste, 440ml can is just under 1 pint

I have a few beers (sometimes Guinness) at the weekend and can not see what the fuss about having one pint now and again! and moderation is the key is all about. I have two stents fitted and honestly do not think that no alcohol and an Amazonian type plant diet rubbish is going to extend my lifespan in the least. Of course drinking to excess is really bad for anybody but a couple of pints of Guinness a week?? Ye gotta enjoy your life as well. Cheers.

I drink Guinness Zero its absolutely brilliant. I think it tastes better than the stiff with alcohol in it to be honest. Plus I domt wake up with a hangover the next day.

Even though its alcohol free I still gind it enjoyable to drink and it has an almost placebo effect of relaxing me as it tastes just as good if not better than thr full fat drink.

I enjoy a pint of beer on friday, one on Saturday and one on Sunday.

I don't personally see the need for me to consume A/F beers.

Moderation and enjoy life.
