Angiogram
Hi. My husband has an angioplasty scheduled for next Friday. He asked the question as to whether he needs to cease his Apixaban prior to having it done. He was told no just to carry on taking all his medication. As he didn’t think this right he contacted his cardiologist’s secretary & she agreed. However

Hi I’m Nicky, I’m 49 and had a heart attack on 23.03.23. I had a stent fitted. I’m feeling anxious and frightened. My lifestyle wasn’t great and I had huge amount of stress at work. I’m so grateful to still be here.

Stopping Clopidogrel
I've been told to stop Clopidogrel after 12 months since getting a stent.Just 2 days after stopping, I'm getting severe pain like heart attack. I have unstable angina and glyceryl nitrate spray didn't help .took aspirin too as usual. I'm not sure if withdrawing Clopidogrel has caused this. Anyone experienced

Depression ?
5 years now since bypass surgery, and my depression (if that's what it is) is getting worse. Nothing ever phased me before CABG, but now... I find myself crying at something sad on tv. I find myself crying at something happy on tv ! I find myself crying in a restaurant or pub, for no apparent reason

Orbit trial
Formally discharged from the trial and referred back to G.P. Letter also sent to cardio rehab team. As it's actually six months since I had the stent fitted (although obviously I didn't know that I had had the stent until three weeks ago, it being a blind trial) wondering if I get offered it I would

shoulder and back pain following CABG
I had a triple CABG 8 weeks ago now. I am finding it difficult to get back to moral activity because my shoulders ache and I have a strong ache between my shoulder blades at the top of my back. Is this someone who will be in touch over time? I'd really like some advise on starting my recovery and
