More angina when walking
Hi all, I've started to get angina again when I walk and I'm worried my artery is blocking again. Just as a quick background had stent Oct 2021 for 99% blockage LAD artery. My symptoms were pain on walking. Pains never went away and in fact got much worse. November 21 had another stent for 99% blockage

GTN Travel
hi folks Just a quick question. Will my GTN spray get passed airport security as travelling to Thailand to visit my daughter? I’ve not needed it since my stent implant but it’s a reassuring comfort to have in my pocket. TIA Andy

I had my gall bladder removed 9 yrs ago and since then have had two ERCP procedures to remove gall stones from my bile duct. The last ERCP was in April last year. I have started with symptoms again. Hey Everyone 3 weeks ago today, I felt a bit off, had what I thought was ingestion, and was a bit breathless I used my GTN spray and took some gaviscon, and used my inhaler, nothing worked but I still dismissed it I decided to go onto the NHS website and they said a nurse would call me back. If it

My Mystery DNR
I originally posted this about six months ago and it was deleted with two hours without any explanation being given. After Qualipop 's recent thread HU and BHF must be aware of the issues. I also mentioned another deleted post in Milkfairy 's last thread. Let's see what happens!? You may remember

Can angina be just breathlessness? I've spoken to 3 GPs about bad breathlessness just from walking into eth kitchen. Today I sat in teh sun and pruned a rose bush. When I came in I couldn't speak I was so breathless. I had an ECG and a blood test t o look for heart failure last MOnday and was told

Unstable angina
I was diagnosed in 2016 and had 2 stents. Was originally told it would be 3 but one was was too small to stent. Have had attacks since then which have been managed by the usual meds and GTN spray. However, since having covid a month ago I have had more incidents than in the last year. Has anyone else

HA and Stent
Can anybody relate to this story. My sister lives in Spain and just had a surprise HA, she then had a stent fitted to deal with a blocked artery. She is feeling fine and was told she is ‘fixed’, although left with scarring. This is just two weeks ago. Is it really as simple as that? She had

feeling let down
Since my husbands heart attack in May last year I have been doing everything I can to help him recover and stay well. He had a very serious heart attack (widow maker), occlusion of his LAD with no viable tissue left to stent or bypass. He has been told by every health professional he’s ever met that

I am now 11 weeks post, and need help from the ladies.....my ' girls' are mostly still numb... Little sensation on

morning all, in April last year I had a hospital admission for suspected heart issues, in September I was told I have a significant narrowing in an artery, not a main one, they tried to start me in a whole heap of meds and suggested a stent, I wanted a chance to avoid all this so for 6 months I have

Which scan or test?
I'm writing on behalf of a friend. They had a stent nearly 10 years ago. Very overweight, on blood pressure medication, statins, aspirin and spray under the tongue. Just lately they've been getting a lot of chest pain, using spray more and unable to walk far without getting breathless. Blood pressure

Are My Arteries Getting Worse?
Anyone diagnosed with atherosclerosis/heart disease, who has had a heart attack, stroke, a bypass or a stent, or indeed anyone who has had any kind of heart problem due to plaque in their arteries, will surely have asked themselves this question. We're told by the NHS and the BHF that we can't remove

Omeprazole and Clopidogrel
Had a stent a month ago today and cardiologist wanted me to go back on omeprazole but I insisted on Pantoprazole. I need the omeprazole long term due to severe GERD. He told me that the interaction advice was an old Canadian study and that there have been ample studies to confirm that Ompeprazole did
