Not much to say today apart from I've woken up with a stinking cold and temperature. (Hospital have done a test for a virus that can't be named, negative but been moved to a side room just in case)
I've discovered a nice big bruise on my chest (were the CPR was) and on my wrist where the stent went in yesterday. I'm still a little tired but overall I'm okay.
Hopefully home tomorrow if this cold stays a cold...

Bless you, as if you don't have enough going on right now! I had that which can't be named last October when I was in hospital with pneumonia. Honestly, the things life throws at us! Though I think it all often makes us stronger in the long run
Fingers crossed it's just a cold. I still have a slight bump from where the tubes went in for the angiograph and where the stent would have had the decided to do one. My worst bruising was from the anti-clotting injections in the stomach. All the best for your continued recovery.
Hello V, hope you feel much better very soon. And the cold stays a cold. I am sure you are drinking plenty of fluids, take good care xx
Hello
I liked the side rooms
You were on that School trip with the kids and I bet it was not that nice a weather you could have easily picked a cold up on the trip and it has just come out now let's think positive
Fingers crossed that you can go home tomorrow or it is Mums maybe
Thank you for letting us know how you are doing we are all still thinking about you and wanting to see you fit and back on your feet again x
How many drugs are they giving you in there well sedatives
Well that was so lovely to hear how much you love her
I know as a Mum I drive mine crazy and I do but always because I want what is best for them even though the eldest is 43 now but one day you will be the same and one day you will be thinking I am now just like my Mum and despite her been stubborn etc she does look after you
Enjoy it and I hope you feel better in the Morning x
Hope you got a good sleep in side room😊After my stent i bruised from my wrisy halfway up to my elbow! It was a glorious sight and one that reminded me how lucky i was as it saved my life at the time.
Hope you're feeling better this morn and able to go home with your Mum xx
I got some sleep, but this cold has really blocked my nose and I struggled to sleep or when I did sleep I woke up with a dry throat because I was sleeping with my mouth open to breathe.
My bruise isn't that big but it's a good size, I've a big bruise on my chest from the CPR but I don't mind that as I know that saved my life.
I'm trying to remain hopeful that I'll be discharged today.
At least you are still here with us I got inhalation pneumonia following sedation for a trans oesophageal echo in March 2020, had 6 days in hospital, came out just before lockdown with a present I could have done without! So was back in for 10 days, 3 weeks later. On the plus side, the CT scan of my lungs showed my "asthma" was actually bronchiectasis and now I'm on the correct treatment I have not had a chest infection for over 2 tears Take care and let your mum look after you when you get home.
Sending love Queen V - we're all in awe of you and glad you're able to update us. You must feel pretty battered but the prospect of release is close and you'll recover steadily once discharged to the care of your dear mum. Take it easy, sending you every strength xx
Always a queen to me, dear V! I share the wrist bruise - entry point to elbow, from the emergency angiogram. I think all of our bad luck is surely all spent by now and we can look forward to brighter times. Take care of yourself
Hi Valentina, I admire your positive attitude, how brave and resourceful are you 😃. I hope the c word remains as initially described, but if it does develop, as long as you have been jabbed, it shouldn't be too consequential 🤞🤞. Give your mum my best wishes, she's a star too. Nice to get your updates, keep them coming. Steve
Great to hear from you, really hope u escape soon V! That would be the last thing you need! My bruise from angio was huge and reached my elbow 🤦🏽♀️ Hope your ribs are ok BUT you are here & doing grand 🥳
