stent
I started having chest pain in March 2022. I was referred to hospital for a CT coronary Angiogram In May 2022. The results showed I had no obstruction of the large coronary arteries. So this didn’t explain my symptoms. I just kept getting worse with many trips to the doctors saying this could be stress

Billiary Stent
6 months on from my transplant and I’ve just had my second stent fitted, I walk at least 2.5 miles a day but I’d like to do a bit more moderate exercise to try and lose some belly fat. My wife is concerned that it could cause the new stent to migrate as well, is she right. Thanks Chris

DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE LAD BLOCKAGE 95%
My Cardioligist did a left heart catheration last weds and placed 2 stents in my RCA that was 99% blocked. That has all seemed to work out well. He also was going to try and stent my LAD that he now says is 95% blocked. He said the entire LAD was 95% thru out the entire LAD. He decided then it would

Pain after stent
Hi, my husband had a stent 18 months ago following an Angina diagnoses and still gets some sharp pain in the chest every now and then which always happens when he is at rest. The pain is quick and sharp and doesn’t last like the Angina pain he had pre stent so he doesn’t need to use his spray. It still

A Few Words About Atherosclerosis And A Potential Remedy
The main cause of death in the world is cardiovascular disease (CVD) and Atherosclerosis is considered a main cause of CVD. TAVI op coming up - tips?
Hi there - my mum has a TAVI operation for a stent in her aorta coming up in July or August. She's in her early 80s and didn't know she had any heart problems until a fall a month back. Can anyone share their experiences of this procedure please - especially what happens post-op once the stent is fitted

Apologies.
Sorry for lack of update. I was really tired yesterday. Saw the on duty cardiologist yesterday morning. I now know in more detail why they wont attempt to stent me. Problem is in a small branch artery close to a major one. Attempting to stent that narrower one carries a greater risk of rupture plus would

Now need a stent or bypass
I posted on here a bit ago that I have been tired and out of breath ever since my 5th ablation last August. My cardiologist put it down to the Bisoporol I was taking but 3 months ago after seeing him and complaining he sent me for a ultrasound scan. All was OK then I wrote to him saying I am not

Triple Bypass
Long story short, which I guess is similar to others. I’m being scheduled for a CABG. Triple bypass by the looks of things. Initially, a bit scared. Worried about my future. The standard gamut of emotions which are swirling around my mind. I guess I have a couple of questions. What’s the surgery

Will I still need tablets after stent?
Just a quick query. Soon I will be getting a stent on a major blockage which seems to be causing my mild angina. I'm currently taking Bisoprolol fumarate and Ranexa to counter angina symptoms. After getting the stent can I expect to stop taking the two tablets or does it vary from person to person
