Huge drop off between follicle count and retrieved eggs.
Hi all, I am on my first round of IVF. I'm 34, and have a good ovarian reserve. I have borderline Polycystic ovaries. I had a fairly slow response to stims (150 meriofert), but by day 12 of stims I had 21 follicles, with 8 of them between 14-19mm on the Friday scan (collection Monday) i've just

IVF success at fifth transfer - over 40
I wanted to write this post to give you hope that miracles can … and do happen. I got my first ever positive result today after my fifth transfer. I’m 41 and am using my own eggs and it has been a long journey to get here. I know it’s very early days but I’m so happy and hoping for the best. I initially

Progesterone blood test
Hi ladies, I’ve been recommend to get a progesterone (day 21) blood test done. And planning for this cycle which is a gap between IVF ones. Any recommendations on where I can get this done? I’m based in West London? Thanks a million!

13dp3dt positive test but started bleeding
Hi all,This is my second cycle of IVF and kind of our last hope. I'm 45 and have lost 3 babies all conceived naturally, 1 Edwards and 2 miscarriages. My first cycle off IVF last year failed as the embryos didn't make it past day 3. This time I took loads of supplements and had 4 good embryos, 2 were

Failed first IVF... looking for hope and opinions on private funded IVF
After five years of trying, we finally got our first chance with IVF at Guy's hospital in London, NHS funded. I only had three eggs after retrieval, all fertilised but were frozen because I had fibroids. Two surgeries later, we finally had only one that survived the thaw and developed to an early embryo

No endo on MRI - what did they find on your lap?
I’ve suffered for years since my periods started and had a “probable endometriosis” diagnosis based on symptoms and response to medical treatment. with trying to conceive and coming off meds I’ve had worsening pain for past few years and lots of failed IVF cycles. My symptoms are mainly bowel and

Heavy bleeding 9dpt and bfn
Hi all My partner and I have both got fertility issues so after two years of trying, have been going through ICSI. I had a fresh transfer 9 days ago with a AA quality embryo. I’ve done everything from using a hot water bottle, short dog walks and litres of water per day. I’m using 2x 400mg Cyclogest

6dp5dt - bleeding and getting a faint line in the test
Hi everyone. First time posting here! In my bio is all my IVF trip. Last week, we did our 5th transfer. It’s been 7dp5dt (euploid... we did a GPT test), and I'm having menstrual symptoms (cramps and nausea) and a bit of blood when I'm going to the toilet. Theoretically, between today, 03.11, and Sunday

methylfolate. Worried about my vitamins! Folic acid
I was taking pregnacare for three months before my first cycle of ivf but realised (especially after reading it starts with the egg) that the supplements are not sufficient for someone undergoing ivf or over 40 trying to conceive. I started taking a b12 supplement containing folic acid but realised

Viability scan on Monday and terrified, symptoms come and go
Hi ladies, I guess just looking for some reassurance really. I got a positive a few weeks ago after 3 years of IVF, this was my third transfer with donor eggs. My HCG was in the late 500’s. They said they wouldn’t test it again as it was good, the day after test day. Since then I have had very sore

IsUnsuccessful Ovaleap treatment. Should I choose Ovapeal again on Menopur?
Hi all. I am 39 years old and started my ivf journey. At first I strted with Burseline for 2 weeks and then the highest dose of Ovaleap. I was very surprised as no folicles were grown. I am a healthy individual and need to do IVF because of my husband who has zoospermia. Before the treatment my cycle

Second opinion on protocol?
Hi! I am posting loads lately so please forgive me but i'm sure you can understand IVF monopolising your mind! My first protocol was rubbish with NHS and this is my second one. I want to be really sure on the protocol - so was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how I can get a second professional

implantation failure!!! What else can I do? Prp rejuvenation? Any advice please help
Hi all you beautiful warriors. After 3 unsuccessful ivf rounds with my own eggs. I moved to donor eggs in Spain. I now have had two failed DE transfers and wanting to go for one last round. I just had a hysteroscopy suggested by my doctor and they found a small polyp and removed it. No endrometitis found

Updates from Clinic - FET
Just had our second round of IVF, collected 23 eggs so had to do a ‘freeze all’ because of risk of OHSS. I had a phone call on day 1 to advise that 16 had fertilised but it’s now day 6 and I’ve heard nothing since. I just wondered how often other clinics provide updates and if this is the norm? On our

Lazy ovary
Hi all, anyone else experienced one ‘lazy ovary’ during ivf stimulation scans? I had my first scan this morning (day 6 of stims), and one ovary had lots of healthy looking follicles, but the other was looking pretty dormant, and the follicles within it were all very small and hadn’t grown. The doctor

Failed IVF 😭
I checked again for hcg level and it showed negative. Cycle failed. I don't know what and where went wrong. Mine was a fresh embryo transfer of 5AB quality. Thickness was good. Did showed some symptoms of implantation in the beging. But after 10days resulted in negative. Its really painful seeing the
